Richmondfox Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Imagine being 18 and paid £800 a week to keep in shape, play a few games of football, free meals, free sportswear and gets to watch City every week. He needs to learn to run before he steals. No chance Klopp is going to start a lightweight 18 year old with no prem experience over Moreno no matter how bad he has been defensively.
Langston Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 I don't think he's going anywhere and it's just his agent trying to up his value via the press to prove what an asset he is to us. Unless I've completely misread what ramada is posting.

I'd say that he has a massive lack of ambition if he's happy to do that. I hope his decision he makes is for the best of his career rather than money. That may not necessarily mean being with us, he's getting to the age now where he needs regular first team football. Our track record with youth players is pretty poor really.
Burmesefox Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Let him go! Another Mattock! ...rot with the Scousers! Mattock was forced out by NP. Ok may have been a willy puller but NP tried to sell him to Forest - he was distressed as a Leicester lad that was his worst nightmare and jumped ship to WBA.
VLC86 Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Partially so yes. But his agent is also making him look like a bit of a cock. For someone who hasn't played more than 3 games for the first team I think not signing a £20k a week contract for a club who have brought him through is ridiculous. If in 6 months he's displaced Fuchs and is first choice then by all means demand £40/50k a week or whatever but I'd say his agent for now is seemingly being a bit greedy and its understandably frustrating as a Leicester fan. However if he does want to go then yes you're correct he is doing a good job. I take it then that you think he's off ? If anything I would read into his post that he thinks rumours of him wanting out aren't true but his agent is using the media and other interest to get a better deal.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 I would say his Agent is doing a great job wouldn't you ? Transfer fee and wages going up on a daily basis Transfer fee seems to be coming DOWN to me?

ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Mahrez will tear him a new one against Liverpool next year!
MPH Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Theres a lot of young lads about who are demanding a piece of the new tv money pie... Happening at other clubs too....
4everfox Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Imagine getting worked up over the departure of an 18 year old nobody. If he thinks its a good idea to leave the Champions of England for the Champions of nothing, more fool him.
Fox92 Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Imagine getting worked up over the departure of an 18 year old nobody. If he thinks its a good idea to leave the Champions of England for the Champions of nothing, more fool him. With the potential to be a solid top flight left back...
4everfox Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 With the potential to be a solid top flight left back... Potential isn't always realised. You'd have thought playing for Leicester under current circumstances is a defenders dream scenario considering our defensive reputation.

Oh yeah I agree with your point just don't agree with how you phrased your post I quoted.
casablancas Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Good riddance. He's human garbage. Easy there mate .
sphericalfox Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Good riddance. He's human garbage. hmm, yeah but what your thoughts of him as a footballer?
Wymsey Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 hmm, yeah but what your thoughts of him as a footballer? Probably never seen him play.
4everfox Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Oh yeah I agree with your point just don't agree with how you phrased your post I quoted. Well he is a nobody currently and there is no guarantee he will realise his potential. Its hardly devastating to the team to lose a Chilwell as opposed to a Kante, that was my original point.
Bazly Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Some Scousers are getting twitchy on this deal "How exciting! Liverpool plan to replace Moreno with an untested 19-year old who is yet to make a single Premier League appearance. Clearly, he'll just walk straight into the team and solve the club's defensive issues at left-back."
gurru991 Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Apparently he has neither said yes or no to the contract extension. We will certainly need some home grown talent as Europe becomes a constant in our schedule.
Buzzell Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Don't they already have an up and coming talented left back at the club? Joe Gomez?

dylanlegend Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 To be fair if you watched Moreno the other night in the cup final he would walk right into their team at the minute
