It all started from some c*nt on twitter. And how reliable is that Italian source that spoke to Ranieri? Words are twisted all the time.

I don't know anything about the woman. I'm a grown man so have no interest whatsoever in the lives of the wives or partners of footballers. Whatever their circumstances, the choice about what to do next in his career will be Vardy's. Yes, as his wife she will quite rightly have a big influence on that, but whatever he decides is on him, not her.

Also, a few people saying he said he'd be staying with us? I've not seen any quote saying that anywhere. Saying he is happy here doesn't mean he wouldn't be even happier at a bigger club on more money.

 

They are married and in the case of a divorce, she's likely to get 50% of it all. I do acknowledge I'm wading in tabloid territory here, but still...

Having slept on it I don't care if he leaves now. We'll find someone just as good. Change is scary and this is all it will be a couple of (forced) changes. If he wants out then he can do one as far as I'm concerned and I hope he blows everything. Greedy selfish and has shown no respect for the fans in this situation at all

Too right - can you imagine Vardy being paid £110,000 a week more than Morgan - it wouldnt be right. Unfortuntely it just shows, no matter what LCFC achieve, until we can match the higher level wages of bigger clubs, players will see us as a stepping stone

i doubt jamie vardy will be having a party...if theres one thing for sure he will struggle to find a drinking partner from that dressing room, i also doubt there will be talk of "brothers" amonst teamates, more likely just praise the quality

If he does go, I wonder if the scales will fall from some eyes in here and we might finally admit that JV does actually tend to go down like a sack of spuds in the box looking for a peno.

I've always thought it. It was just more tolerable and forgivable when the penalties were awarded to Leicester.

It will probably be welcomed if he wins a load of penos, however disputed, for England at the Euros.

If, however, he is wearing an Arsenal shirt and runs into Wes's leg next season at the KP, we won't see the funny side.
