Simmo86 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Yes he does, why? Overfinch?? He was definitely in Rothwell today then, because I saw it parked up. He went to the Thai Garden restaurant with his mate who is from Rothwell. He has a box next to the players box. This was around 3pm

FuchingKante Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Seriously are people really that stupid to keep posting stuff like this. If he says he isn't leaving he doesn't get more money from us. If all of this is about trying to get a better deal after recently getting 80k a week then he is a massive ****.
Steameh Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Last time I read this thread, it was on page 14 i think that was 2 days ago maybe? Anyone want to fill me in on the 100 pages i've missed?

StanSP Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Last time I read this thread, it was on page 14 i think that was 2 days ago maybe? Anyone want to fill me in on the 100 pages i've missed? Confirmed that Family Stand and Kop are being swapped.
HereBeFoxes Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Last time I read this thread, it was on page 14 i think that was 2 days ago maybe? Anyone want to fill me in on the 100 pages i've missed? We're signing Zlatan, everything's going to be fine. That's how I read it anyway.

This was around 3pm https://twitter.com/spiezick9/status/739486289901330432 So he's spent the past two days in Rutland and Northants with his family and friends... Not really what you'd expect of someone desperate to leave before boarding a flight to France (as the papers would have you believe)
theessexfox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Living where I do, I think I'd have left the country if he signed for West Ham.
inckley fox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Whether Vardy is a Legend or not is clearly a matter of opinion, it is not a 'fact' that Vardy is a legend. Bore off. Who gets to decide that anyone is, factually, a legend? According to the dictionary definition, he would be a very good example of a legend. Lots of legends haven't been especially loyal, of course. In football and outside of it. I'm not one of the people throwing their toys out of the pram, slating his wife, slating Vardy, spewing out the sort of nonsense which - if he were to catch wind of any of it, which he already has via his wife - may or may not sway any 'do I? don't I?' decisions. And I'm not the one moaning that he's 'no longer a club legend' when anybody with the slightest grain of reason left in them would concede that, whether he goes or not, yes he is. The point I made, in response to a poster being called a 'fool' for calling Vardy a 'legend', was that there's nothing in the definition of a legend which indicates that someone can't sign for Arsenal. And there still isn't. If that's boring for you, then by all means ratchet up the discussion by saying something more interesting.
Simmo86 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 https://twitter.com/spiezick9/status/739486289901330432 So he's spent the past two days in Rutland and Northants with his family and friends... Not really what you'd expect of someone desperate to leave before boarding a flight to France (as the papers would have you believe) According the blokes nephew. No deal with Arsenal, no medical, just been offered terms. Waiting to see what Leicester come back with.
49er Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 If I was in Vardy's shoes, either sign our improved contract or wait until after the Euros. If he takes the latter by storm, he will be a wanted man and his value will rise, so if we do have to sell its more money in the transfer kitty for us: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/676906/Arsenal-Jamie-Vardy-Leicester-Arsene-Wenger-England-Euro-2016-Transfer-News-Gossip-Rumours
stripeyfox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Anyone who thinks Vardy isn't a club legend at Leicester is off their rocker. I believe that all of the title winning squad will go down in Leicester history as legends. In 30/40/50 years time, those who are still around will reel off their names like people do with the 66 world Cup winning team. And Vardy is the absolute pinnacle of that legendary team.

Stevosevic Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 So England back in training tomorrow? Or only travelling?

How exactly would his value rise? All it's means is he'd have more offers and could play more clubs against each resulting a bigger contract, in terms of Leicester and money they recieve it'd mean fuck all.
Buzzell Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Knock yourselves out, guys: http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/legend So Vardy is a legend then
VLC86 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 If anyone is bored go on Twitter, search for Vardy and troll the absolute ****** that are the Arsenal fans. Some crackers out there.
Salieri Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 It's mind boggling just how many people don't understand the concept of a release clause and how it works.
Simmo86 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 So England back in training tomorrow? Or only travelling? Travelling. They might train when they get there though!
49er Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Well no, as long as it's a champions league team the price will still be the same But there may be more than one team (Arsenal) interested in him if he really shines. Let's, for example, say that PSG like the look of him. Surely, they may come and in make a £30m offer just to get their man?
drew Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Or he means his own personal value, i.e what a club is willing to pay him.

You've missed nothing !! We love Vardy ... We hate Vardy .... We love him again ... No No we hate him. Blah Blah Blah

Surely, they may come and in make a £30m offer just to get their man? If they meet the criteria of the release clause, they're not going to go higher. It would not necessarily mean they'd get their man anyway
