Guest CityFan 06 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 If he stays, morale in dressing room might not be excellent as some players will think he doesn't want to be here. This is my worry as well. If he does stay, it's a great bonus for us because of his qualities, but if he doesn't actually want to play for us, that's just the thing isn't it.
peach0000 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Sun now reporting arsenal have triggered mahrez's release clause too now...ffs A bit misleading, the article doesn't mention a release clause and I can't remember reading anywhere that he has one. Edit - Miss read the article, please ignore http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/transfernews/7194947/Arsenal-transfer-exclusive-Riyad-Mahrez-set-to-join-Jamie-Vardy-at-the-Emirates-as-Arsene-Wenger-meets-low-release-clause.html

Wymsey Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 How does that work, if he's here it's becsuse he wants to be. Unless Vardy has told his agent he wants to go as Arsenal offered him better money and whatnot, and his agent has pushed Arsenal to get it done (as rumoured) - then that.

Babylon Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Well I'm off on holiday, this thread and some of the people in it are truly pathetic. It's playground stuff.

TeamRocket Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 This is looking like Maynard all over again 210 am going for
Ric Flair Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 How could West Ham have agreed a deal in principle with him when his release clause was only for teams in the Champions League? So much bull shit. Also if Mahrez has a release clause the whole of Europe would be all over him. This is all astounding. We've pissed off the world of football and made mugs of the media, it's their last line of attack.
Stevosevic Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Only the Sun but they think the medical was done today. This is horrible
blue army 1988 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Classic media U-turn. Report that Vardy is off to Arsenal. And then suddenly we've offered him a new contract and in the end he stays at Leicester.
peach0000 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 You clearly haven't read the article I missed the middle bit between the pictures
HankMarvin Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Well I'm off on holiday, this thread and some of the people in it are truly pathetic. It's playground stuff. bet my holidays better
Simmo86 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Anybody know if he has a white Range Rover aswell as the Bentley?
MattCan Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 It does, it states that Arsenal are shocked that the release clause is so low Mahrez must have been evaluated lower than some staff members ..
blue army 1988 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Now reporting that Vardy, Kante and mahrez all have £20m release clause. I just think this is a media storm and has no truth to any of it.
filbertstreet Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Only the Sun but they think the medical was done today. This is horrible Wasn't he hanging around Highcross today?
ImBlue Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Anybody know if he has a white Range Rover aswell as the Bentley? Yes he does, why?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 The whole Leicester team, background staff, ground, training ground, the guys and women that sell the programmes, the staff that serve the food and drink all have 20 million pound release clauses Even filbert the fox just reported now... in the Sun
Buce Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Knock yourselves out, guys: http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/legend
Kitchandro Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 The whole Leicester team, background staff, ground, training ground, the guys and women that sell the programmes, the staff that serve the food and drink all have 20 million pound release clauses Except schlupp, his is £100m because he's our only decent player according to Rudkin.
SecretPro Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 You see the problem here is that he understood the actual definition of 'legend', but wasn't aware of this additional clause that you personally have added on to the definition of 'legend', and only just bothered to tell anyone about. Hopefully the Oxford English people are watching this forum because I reckon they were unaware of it too. Whether Vardy is a Legend or not is clearly a matter of opinion, it is not a 'fact' that Vardy is a legend. Bore off.
chapero82 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Knock yourselves out, guys: http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/legend He clearly isn't one from instead of banishing the snakes to Arsenal he has joined forces instead
MattCan Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Knock yourselves out, guys: http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/legend So, according to this, a legend could or could not be a good guy.
