They would have done vigorous checks before announcing the full squad. Arsenal won't even bother with it interesting thought, but no chance any club would risk a multi-million pound investment without verifying it themselves.

Seeming to not really care too much about the money and just playing and moving up the leagues because he loved football. What you see is what you get. This whole saga just sort of shows he's turned into the rest of them. I really do hate the money orientation of modern football. Nobody needs to earn 100k+ a week in any profession. Its just ridiculous.
