pretty sure he'll leave all things considered and done in the last 48 hours. false hope thinkin he'll reject all that money for us.

really want to hate him and call him a cvnt but he won us the league. what a nightmare situation to be in.

Depends what we offer really, as all these specifics are pure speculation it's not unreasonable to think we might value his services as highly as Arsenal.

I genuinely think if he goes there there'll end up being rumours that he comes back here. I just cannot see it working out for him. It's not even the fact the pay increase isn't THAT significant, it's joining a club where I just cannot see him fitting.

 

Nothing about Vardy fits Arsenal. Nothing what so ever.

 

It would just be such a sad move in my eyes. You're taking an unlikely hero from the unlikely heroes and putting him so far out of his comfort zone that it could finish him, all for the sake of a pay increase that really isn't that significant in the grand scheme of things.

 

 I suspect he wants the best contract he can get off of us, and the whole thing has to look serious.

 

We have seen it time and again with players... that is what they do... could be wrong though.  :blush:

A granny like that for 20 years in a decent place is going to be the best part of a million. Maybe you have 2 grannys, maybe you want a nice house, you gotta live for 50 years on what you make, as has your missus. You gotta look after your kids, you might pay 25% for your divorce. So many unknowns. A 1 million pension gets 40k retirement income max.

 

£10 million is a massive amount to me, but in the grand scheme of things, its probably what a doctor earns in a lifetime.

I doubt if he did have a medical at Arsenal or was going to sign for them soon, he would be in the casino in Leicester town centre.
