WigstonWanderer Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 I can see Vardy postponing his decision until after the Euros, what we saw with Cambiasso last 2 summers is just about to get 100x worse We need 1 or more strikers anyway, so no need to delay signing a potential replacement.
Mezeker Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 We need 1 or more strikers anyway, so no need to delay signing a potential replacement. I'm quite anxious to see who we get in, i feel the level of quality of our first outfield signing will dictate how the summer transfer window will unfold.
act smiley Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 I don't know if this has been mentioned but I think this thread has surpassed the Maynard thread back in the day in regards post count. In record time I hasten to add Nope, we're currently sitting at about two-thirds of the Maynard thread (and also below the Cambiasso thread). In about 2% of the time, granted.
Vardinio'sCat Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 regardless of what happens, it's no coincidence that the vast majority of posters properly slating him are either far from regular posters, or known clowns. This...
Vardinio'sCat Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 This weekend has been so exhausting, gonna knock one out to get over it.
Ozwin Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 God we must've been really bloody shite for that Maynard topic to take off like that. Boggles the mind how far we've come since then in that we're essentially talking about the biggest transfer in our history now.
Vardinio'sCat Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 This would be the funniest thing ever. Brace yourselves... http://metro.co.uk/2016/06/05/arsenal-fans-prepare-for-jamie-vardy-transfer-rejection-humiliation-5925675/?

merlin1969 Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Arsenal transfer exclusive: Arsenal in talks with Riyad Mahrez as Arsene Wenger wants to get winger as well as Jamie Vardy The Gunners have been shocked that Mahrez's release clause is so low and now have well and truly sparked the break-up of the Premier League-winning Foxes team. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/7194947/Arsenal-transfer-exclusive-Riyad-Mahrez-set-to-join-Jamie-Vardy-at-the-Emirates-as-Arsene-Wenger-meets-low-release-clause.html Leicester prepare bid for Troy Deeney as Jamie Vardy contract negotiations continue http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/06/05/leicester-prepare-bid-for-troy-deeney-as-jamie-vardy-contract-ne/

happy85 Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 If Vardy stay's, it could be bigger than winning the league.
mozartfox Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Now we know why the Sun is not popular on Merseyside. Complete ill informed rag.
The Doctor Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Now we know why the Sun is not popular on Merseyside. Complete ill informed rag. Think the scousers have a problem with it that isn't about its piss-poor transfer gossip tbf
benpicko Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 If Vardy stay's, it could be bigger than winning the league. Trying to wrap my head around how on earth this works

biggs Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 if Vardy leaves thx for the 5 years but fvck you now. 5 years back he was ready for a 9 to 5 job. if we can't keep him, I'll stick with my belief in these owners and we'll pick up an equal or better player. Vardy at Arsenal will not make Arsenal a better team. I'm convinced of that. we will replace talent with talent and Leicester is quality under these owners and staff. I hope he stays but if not, absolutely convinced we'll find the player to not only replace Vardy but to improve on him time will tell
roblcfc84 Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 I hope he stays but I don't he is irreplaceable by any means - he has a very specific style and one we indulged all of last season. But! He is prone to a baron spell especially if played in a slightly different way - he couldn't buy a goal the season we stayed up (although he got a fair few assists). I remember January 2014 loads ppl on here were buzzing to get 5 million from west brom - I really think it would be the end of world and over 100k on a 4 year deal is a massive risk
foxfanazer Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Hopefully it doesn't get done before the euros and Vardy two foots Ramsey breaking his leg and Wenger pulls out of the deal. Also might get King more minutes for Wales. Everyone's a winner (except Ramsey )

I hope he stays but if not, absolutely convinced we'll find the player to not only replace Vardy but to improve on him time will tell Not a chance 5 years ago he was close to a 9 to 5. Nunerous league clubs were after him. Peterborough, Blackpool, Cardiff and West Brom to name a few.
RowlattsFox Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 The longer it's gone on the more I think he might stay. I'm not a fan of the money he has potentially earnt out of it but it would be hilarious to see him turn down Arsenal. Then they can pretend they never wanted him anyway.
HighPeakFox Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 If it turns out to be a ploy to squeeze more money out of LCFC, I can cope with it. I don't like it much, but if it's an indicator he would like to stay, then some good comes of it.
JayTheFox Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Imagine the first game of the season at the emirates, vardy clean through one on one, slots in into the corner past Cech. Runs behind the goal kissing his Leicester badge all the way to the away end. Surely all this can be forgotten then?
roblcfc84 Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 In fairness we've nothing from Vardy have we? This may all just be a clever ruse to endear himself to the fans even more
