Guest Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Kante was unproven in the premier league! Kanté was majestic starting for France last night. Offer him a 5 year £200,000 per week contract.
stripeyfox Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 HERE: http://metro.co.uk/2016/06/05/arsenal-fans-prepare-for-jamie-vardy-transfer-rejection-humiliation-5925675/ That was posted last night. Nothing new. No one knows anything. Apart from JV
StanSP Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Good joke. Completely unproven in the Premier League and very unlikely to be the player of the year next season. I don't buy this 'unproven in the Premier League' bullshit. Guarantee someone will say this when we're linked with Messi as well
Fox 4 Life Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Kanté was majestic starting for France last night. Offer him a 5 year £200,000 per week contract. 100% worth every penny, unfortunately I think it will be PSG offering that contract
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Is this real? Someone has actually taken time out of their day to make that. Can someone explain why? Maybe the 467 guests that are looking at this topic a lot of which presumably are Arse fans?
Simmo86 Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 BBC website seems to be claiming that Arsenal told Vardy to board the plane without telling them what he'd decided to do, they obviously like the suspense as well The England striker, 29, was due to choose whether to remain with the Foxes or join the Gunners before flying out to France for Euro 2016 on Monday. But he boarded the flight with the rest of the England squad without informing Arsenal what he intended to do, as requested by the London club. Am I the only one reading that as Arsenal wanted a decision before he boarded the plane?
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Weren't there two Maynard threads? The original got locked and we started another iirc
Fox 4 Life Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Am I the only one reading that as Arsenal wanted a decision before he boarded the plane? Yes you are spot on, I did think that was a very strange request otherwise.
stripeyfox Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Am I the only one reading that as Arsenal wanted a decision before he boarded the plane? That's how it reads but no one really knows what the arrangements are. He may have told them but it is not being made public yet. Or he may want more time. If so, they can either a) wait or b) withdraw the offer.
Finnegan Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Am I the only one reading that as Arsenal wanted a decision before he boarded the plane? It sounds as if they wanted an early decision, realised he wasn't sure, told him to take more time. Reasonably promising, suggests his mind definitely isn't made up. In fact, I may be clutching at straws but it sounds like he's leaning towards staying. They could have upped their offer, though.
Ric Flair Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 does he 10% of any transfer money? So even if we matched the £120,000 per week he'd still be out of pocket??? I'm convinced he's off, but is agonising over the decision.... Well technically he's choosing to leave as we want him to stay so no he wouldn't get 10%. He would get a decent signing on fee from Arsenal though.
Buce Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 What a weird thing to request! I think it's just badly written. I suspect that it is meant to indicate that Arsenal requested an answer before flying to the Euros.
mozartfox Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Bollo**s to all this Vardy rubbish have we signed that OX from AFC Wimbledon yet? His movement up front would baffle the likes of Barca/Real and Bayern.
onekeithweller Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Is this real? No. Have you found your dinosaur? Thought I saw him photoshopped somewhere but I can't remember where, hope that helps. I think that means Arsenal asked him to let them know his decision before he was to board the plane. Obviously he didn't. Arsenal did not ask him not to let them know. Now we have to work out why he didn't let them know. Was it to p1ss them off or was it to let Leicester down gently or was it to let Arsenal down gently or was it just to p1ss everyone off?

Larry_LCFC Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 So we won't find out now until England are home? FFS.
filbertstreet Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 So we won't find out now until England are home? FFS. when do the group stages finish?
Wymsey Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Probably if that lookalike didn't look like Vardy, this would've been sorted by now. Perhaps the wife was/is still annoyed by him and the attention both her husband and Lee Chapman is getting.
