inckley fox Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Do you think that's why Woy didn't take Danny? IF he goes. I don't think this, but Hodgson was very insistent that we don't engage in transfer negotiations after today, and if reports are true Wilshere has devoted a portion of his time to doing just that. When you consider that the manager could have taken a player who had had a much better season, has a good understanding with one of our key players on the pitch, and definitely wouldn't be giving his time to persuading him to enter into transfer negotiations, it seems all the more silly.
simFox Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Reading the Vardy thread on arsenal mania is just as entertaining as the Tottenham run-in thread. if he says no i'll have literally hours of smug entertainment.
waylander Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Vardy thread got too get more than the tricky minge guard thread.
J.Lisemore Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 According to the BBC, he's still expected to make his mind up today... How legit that is I don't know.

Wilshere got something of the Dennis Wise about him, if I were Vardy I wouldn't be sleeping soundly in my bed at night.
Finnegan Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 There's not a single quote of him saying anything about arsenal in that You obviously didn't read it. Pretty good interview actually, fairly insightful. Basically says he'll do well if he goes but it'd be nice if he stays. Nothing groundbreaking.
Chrysalis Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 I think whats happening here is arsenal and co are fearful of another team cementing themselves in the top 4 like man city did. FFP wasnt enough to stop us winning the title, so it is possible they just flooding the press with stories to destabilise the club, its also possible all the bids are genuine but again their main purpose is to destroy our team rather than strengthen their own.
Ed25 Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 There's not a single quote of him saying anything about arsenal in that Do you read well?
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 lo l Okazaki backs Vardy to succeed at Arsenal http://www.japantimes.co.jp/sports/2016/06/06/soccer/okazaki-backs-vardy-succeed-arsenal/?#.V1V42dR94_4 WHAT THE FVCK
Bazly Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Vards has probably requested the extra time to check out how he will work in a diamond since he only managed 9 touches against Portugal and got as close to goal as a Muslim gets to a bacon sarny. Seeing the Arse aren't going to fit with him he needs to see if he can fit with them, rather than just as bench fodder.
Finnegan Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 WHAT THE FVCK Read the article, it's just standard footballer stuff. He's obviously been asked what he thinks about Vardy to Arsenal. He says he hopes Vardy and Mahrez stay but IF Vardy goes to Arsenal, he could adapt his game. Some of the tenses are muddled and badly translated which makes it sound like he's saying Vardy has already gone but the more you read it's clear that's not what he's saying. He basically closes by saying it's a big life decision that Vardy has to make.

Smiffy Fox Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Skybet have suspended the betting on him joining Arsenal. You can still bet that he stays at Leicester though. Doesn't look good.
Finnegan Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 I read the article, I just thought it was weird that someone would comment on speculation as openly as that. It's pretty obviously not speculation at this point. He's been offered a contract, he's got to choose, he could well be leaving. Not that unusual for a team mate to say "I hope he stays but he'll do well if he doesn't."
WigstonWanderer Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 I just want to know whether I have to support/watch England or not Jamie, just let us know. Pity poor Roy, doesn't know whether to play Vardy as centre forward or leave him on the bench!
leicesterlad1989 Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Skybet have suspended the betting on him joining Arsenal. You can still bet that he stays at Leicester though. Doesn't look good. Means nothing. Few years back the bookies suspended betting on MON returning to Leicester. It's all about betting trends. Obviously it doesn't look great for us at the minute though.
Carl the Llama Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Just had another bowel movement; lots of little smooth ones which were deceptively hard to shove out but didn't leave a trace on the paper afterwards. I'll keep you posted with more developments as they come.
Innovindil Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Skybet have suspended the betting on him joining Arsenal. You can still bet that he stays at Leicester though. Doesn't look good. Just means someone had a fat bet on it. Have to recheck the odds. Open again now.
Jobyfox Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 I’ve heard from reliable sources that: Complete Speculation Speculation Speculation Speculation Speculation Speculation Speculation Speculation Speculation Speculation Speculation Speculation Speculation More Speculation Grossly Speculative comment Speculation Speculation Speculation Speculation Speculation Regurgitated speculation from self-proclaimed “ITK” which doesn’t actually confirm anything Speculation Speculation Speculation Speculation from official Twitter account Speculation from some random Twitter account Speculation So this all definitely means that he’s going, but there is a small chance that he’ll stay.

Simi Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 False/they are back up. It is 1/3 Arsenal 9/4 Leicester on Sky Bet It was suspended 5 minutes ago, most likely adjusting the market.
