Together, Villa and Forest have won more European Cups than all the teams in London combined lol

And now a second tier fixture.

As much as i dislike forest, that sending off was utterly ridiculous. Needs overturning.

Makes you wonder if some ref's ever played the game or have any understanding of passion.

Donut in "IT'S ALL PEARSONS FAULT I TOLD YOU HE'S SHIT REALLY" shocker.

lol oh please

Right, lets ignore his spell at Leicester. Ill say this once:

PEARSON WAS BRILLIANT AT LEICESTER.

Ok, thats out of the way.

How is this start at Derby not Pearson's fault?

I knew as soon as i saw the name AKCJ it would be quoting a post of mine.

Can you imagine how empty your life must be when its based on following one person round a fan forum?

Well thats what you do!

And youre now going to tell me how taking a team that was one result away from the playoff final, selling one of their best players, loaning out their main goalscorer, not playing half the players that got them to the verge of the playoff final, playing a totally different formation thats taken one of the most free scoring teams in the division and made them the lowest scorers in the whole of the four divisions and pissing the fanbase off to the point youre booed off at the end of each half already isnt Pearsons fault?

No doubt you either:

a) will try to make an argument and look daft

or

b) just make an insult with an emoji and no point whatsoever.

Probably be the latter.

The standard of officiating really is appalling. That red card for Forest I'd go as far as saying is power abuse.

What is big Nige up to? I imagined he'd instantly make Direby a real force again, but if anything they look even worse! Thinking about it though, it usually takes him about a season or so to sort it. Apart from us in League 1 of course.

I wonder if he's not the manager he was without Walsh and Shakey?

I'm not surprised he's started slowly. He's never really been an impact manager. We spent most of the 2011/12 season under him being extremely hit and miss. Pearson's always been about changing the mentality of the players and ensuring he's got a team that will never give up. It sounds so cliche but it's true. He created a fantastic dressing room at Leicester that I feel has been key to both our great escape and our title win. If he feels players aren't pulling their weight he'll happily bin them off even if it does do some short-term damage.

However this is embarrassing. One goal in six games is relegation form. They were so bad at Burton and by all accounts it was similar yesterday. I think in time he'll get it right but it looks like he'll have to go back to go forward. Depends how patient they are. Make no mistake he laid a key blueprint at this club and it's worth persisting with.

why did you think he'd instantly make them a hit? when he arrived back here in a similar situation it took about 18 months before we consistently looked like a title challenging team. instantly never happens in that division.

I'm really not sure how that jumped from 'this isn't at all uncharacteristic' to 'he must be shit now'.
