Agent Pearson, I doff my hat to you.

Taking over a team with as much talent as that at that level and ****ing them up so badly is top trolling.

Hes Leicester through and through. He hates Derby

:scarf::scarf::scarf:

If they need a striker, Florent Sinama Onegoal is available.

Burton close to a little sensation again... Drew 1-1 at Fulham, but could've taken all three points if the game had lasted a minute less.

Wednesday coming back from 2-0 to win it 3-2 against Bristol City is also worth mentioning.

Two sending offs in that game, the Owls were down to ten men against eleven - but only for two minutes. lol

Wolves thrashed 4-0 at home by Barnsley. Walter Zenga in meltdown mode. And you people laugh at Pearson...

Big Nige is clearly still on our payroll. He'll take Derby down, then get the Forest job and finally take them down. Then loads of their younger fans and East Midlands children defect to us, we start to have a monopoly on all the young players in the region, expand the KP to 60k and entrench our status as the East Midlands' dominant team for decades to come.

What I thought was strange was allowing Chris Martin to leave on-loan.

He's a better all-round forward than Vydra and Bent imo.

Don't see the fuss about Will Hughes, though, often gets tackled easily and running around with little substance.

Perhaps Derby's balloon needs bursting a bit before it can get more air and rise again.

I'm really at a loss as to explain Derby's current plight. 1 goal all season is inexcusable really, I never expected Derby to do this badly under Nigel.

Whether he'll turn it around or not is down to how much time the board will give him. But don't forget they fired Clement because of boring football with the club in the playoffs!

Take over job with objective of promotion and playing with good style, with a 4-3-3 team.

Totally ignore everything they did last season.

Radically change the tactics without the players to do so to a 4-4-2 immediately.

Lacking quality midfield options according to the Derby fans to play 2 in the middle. doesnt address. Sells Hendrick.

Falls out with Chris Martin who happens to be their best goalscorer. Sends him packing. Now cant score a goal.

Doesnt play useful players like Ince for no apparent reason.

Alienates a large proportion of the fanbase within 7 weeks.

Begs chairman for more time.

Theres a thread on the Derby forum called 96 shots 1 goal. Not sure how true that stat is but can you really blame Pearson for that piss-poor return, players have to take some responsibility. Big Nige will end up taking all the blame obviously.

Pretty sure Pearson played 433 up until the Burton game. Only in the last couple of games has he tried to do it his way.

Very true...

His days could be numbered. Which, knowing Pearson, would be the wrong thing to do.

He'll be stamping his own mark on a bunch of perennial underachievers. And they will kickback I suspect.

Given time, he'll sort em.

With hindsight, I don't know why I thought he'd turn em straight around. That's not usually his way.

They are getting exactly what they deserve, sack a perfectly competent manager because you want to play "The Derby Way" (U WOT M8) and end up not being able to buy a goal, never mind a win, and are getting beaten by towns which are practically Derby Suburbs. Brilliant.

Only shame is this will be an utter hammer blow to Nige's career, no way Derby will give him the time to turn it round,

lol don't just make things up you prat.

He hasnt alienated anybody - by all accounts the fans were pretty supportive last night in what was clearly a mugging.

Hes given Ince plenty of minutes so far - he'd started every game until last week and last night was the first game of the season where he didn't feature.

Ah yes, the old falling out line - he's gotten rid so they must have had a dramatic training ground bust-up with headbutts galore. Maybe he just sold an absolute donkey who clearly wouldn't be able to operate in a high-intensity system with a strike partner.

4-4-2 from 4-3-3 is not a radical tactical change.

Maybe he sold Hendrick because it was good business? You know, with Burnley offering a ridiculously high price, Hendrick wanting to play in the PL and Pearson preferring not to accommodate sulkers and wantaways in his squad in order to create a strong team ethic. But no, you're right, there was clearly a training ground bust-up with headbutts galore.

Think you're right about NP not being given time.

Two of the Rams fans in the village both reckon he's on the verge already. Natives are very restless about all aspects of his management apparently.

I'm one who'd personally ask questions of the players rather than the manager, but it seems the Derby fans believe 'their' players are underperforming purely due to the way they're being coached and managed!

Chris Martin leaving, for whatever reason, doesn't strike me as a particularly good move and he is directly responsible for it. That said the strikers he's got should be able to bridge that gap easily and they are not.

I too live in an area with a lot a Derby fans and I find it very surprising anyone thinks NP is well backed at that club, most I know hate him, you go on their boards they are all slating him, they might not have taken to calling for his head from the stands yet but they carry on like this for much longer it's in the post.

How awful that he's tried to change things from last season considering they got promoted and are now in the Premier League... Oh, wait.

Good to see my fan is back and following my every move. Didnt think it would be long. lol

The changes hes made have really got them riding high, what with changing the formation and sacking off their best players.

Theyre free scoring and looking like promotion candidates

Oh wait

1) Ah yes, the old falling out line - he's gotten rid so they must have had a dramatic training ground bust-up with headbutts galore. Maybe he just sold an absolute donkey who clearly wouldn't be able to operate in a high-intensity system with a strike partner.

1) The Donkey that was their leading scorer. Now the team cant score a goal. Like saying Vardy is an "absolute donkey" in your words. Clearly not a donkey.

2) So if Leicester lined up with a 4-3-3 formation, that wouldnt be much different from playing 4-4-2 then? Why do we bother talking tactics if its irrelevant

There is a large percentage of Derby fans who are sick of the bloke already. You can turn a blind eye to this if you want. Why should i care, im not a derby fan, i dont care how they perform.

Theyre gonna need that "strong team ethic" as you put it to avoid relegation at this rate.

Maybe their "sulkers and wantaways" were actually quite good players maybe?

Think the evidence is there for most to see.

I was far from Pearson's biggest fan but it's clear what he does when he goes into a club. He did it with Beckford, Danns etc here, he did it with Bullard at Hull and he's done it with Martin at Derby. He clears the troublesome players out and goes from there. I've never been a fan of Martin either, he's a big lump who walks around chewing his gum always moaning throughout the match, I'd have preferred he'd stayed just because they won't gain promotion with him leading the line.

What he shouldn't have done though is force 442 on a team without the midfielders able to play in a two, they have played 433 for a good 3-4 years now haven't they?

Derby's next match is Bristol City away, which won't be as easy as it sounds.

Then (after Liverpool in cup) Blackburn at home - after looking at some of Blackburn's highlights they do look poor all over, so this could very seen as a 'must win' for them.

Really can see Pearson's position being under great threat if they don't at the very least pick a point up in these 2 games.
