Our performance last Friday was nothing short of disgraceful, and Martin is the first out the door says it all, a sulky arm flailer when he doesn't get his way We wont be joining you this season imo, but its nice to see us moving away from a failed system. That's what you will get from Pearson. He will identify any bad apples & trouble makers and will get shot of them. It might be unpopular with fans, but ultimately it will be for the good of the team. When he came back here for his 2nd spell in charge it didn't take him long to realise who would be the players who would be troublemakers. He divided opinion with some people by getting rid of the likes of Mills, Danns, Beckford, Bamba and replacing them with the reserve players people hadn't really heard of. Pearson isn't perfect but any Derby fan criticising him for selling Martin or any other fans favourite show them this. This is from the chairman of our supporters club. I think there will be a few coming in. So far, we have the two lads from Manchester United (Ritchie De Laet and Matty James) and a non-league striker (Jamie Vardy). With all due respect, that won't strike fear into other teams I wouldn't expect. http://m.leicestermercury.co.uk/leicester-city-manager-nigel-pearson-owes-fans/story-16438786-detail/story.html

Dan Posted 1 September 2016 Posted 1 September 2016 Jesus Christ. "Likened it to the sale of Frank Worthington" have I only just noticed that after four years or were we in such a state back then that I didn't actually make that much to it as a comment?

It was on here a couple of years ago when the Supporters Club complained that no players apart from a couple of youth teamers turned up to their awards night. There was a link to Ginetta's article in that.

deejdeej Posted 1 September 2016 Posted 1 September 2016 Cliff Ginetta always struck me as having the attitude of a Tigers fan.
Wymsey Posted 1 September 2016 Posted 1 September 2016 He was moaning at the Charity Shield about the game being played at the wrong time with the heat.
NewEnglandFox Posted 2 September 2016 Posted 2 September 2016 No wonder Huddersfield are top taking 4 points away at Villa and away at Newcastle. They just ****ing swarm everything.

Exiled 'big name' first teamers Martin and Hendrick eg Beckford and Mills and has brought in Vydra and Anya. Not that I know much about the situation at Derby but he could be trying to replicate the sort of team he had with us (I.e Anya similar to Dyer and Vydra similar to Vardy)

Definitely capable of getting between 15 & 20 goals.
Wymsey Posted 6 September 2016 Posted 6 September 2016 Obviously still very early days yet but wouldn't be surprised if Forest finished above Derby in a play-off place. Their squad isn't that bad and are starting to gel well a bit now.

kingcarr21 Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 Looks like Lord Bendtner has joined Forest. I feel like i should laugh but surely he could do a job in the Championship?
