Fox 4 Life Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 I hate the idea of "cup keepers" if your number one and fit you should play every game. Imagine kasper missing out on the champs league, hopefully this is just someone to give a bit of competition and provide a safe backup.

No chance will we go down the route of having a cup keeper like barca, granted the lad will probably play the domestic cup games but I can't see our league number 1 missing out on champions league games
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 Why did he only play 12 times last season? Also who calls their child ron robert. Looks decent tho Raimunt
It'sblueupnorth Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 I want this to happen not because I've got any insight into how he's been doing the past few years, but simply because as chants go, "Zieler" to the tune of Hey Ya by Outkast is too good to pass up. You just know it's going to be 'there's only one Robert Zieler'
Clever Fox Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 He's talented and proven on a higher level, but if we want to be fair to the lad, he didn't play a single game at the 2014 World Cup... because of Manuel Neuer. But who knows? He might be Germany's No. 1 at one point... If this goes through, it'll be a great signing and a wonderful declaration of intent from the management that we need to boost the squad in all areas in order to remain competitive or even push us to a higher level of sustainable sportive success. I totally agree with you. He's clearly competition for Kasper and not just back up. It looks like the signings we are linked too are to improve upon what we have which can only be good for our progress. We just need to add a Coutinho , Nasri, type player to improve our possession and we'd give anyone a good game.
FLAN Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 You just know it's going to be 'there's only one Robert Zieler' Tune of Viva Las Vegas Zeiler will save us

MC Prussian Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Four-year contract, apparently. And according to that BILD piece, we were also interested in Mainz's Loris Karius (now at Liverpool).
mozartfox Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Former Andy Möller consultant who is called only "the black Abt" in the industry ???? So there you have it - if you want to get a deal across the line, give the 'black Abt' a call. I reckon he was the one that worked the miracle for Bayer04 with Aranguiz? Anderson fvcking Perry can FOAD.
