Going to be nigh-on impossible for him to justify the fee. I thought we were a smarter club but we look just as muggy as the rest of them now.

 

We turned our noses up at paying 10m 2 years ago and after one decent season in a doggo league we want to shell out three times that much?

 

Bad idea for me. Not sure he will take us to a higher level and we looked better with the small net spend.

Reckon we look better with better players tbh, but maybe that's just me

That's the spirit.

 

It will be hard for him to justify if people are writing him off before we have even signed him.

 

The transfer fee is a lot, granted but it is all relative.

I'm all for signing younger players with potential to be better but slimani will fit in perfect here.

 

We cover all the attacking threats now with the pace of Vardy, Mahrez an absolute baller and Slimani for strength and aerial ability. Three players who can all score for fun. We won't have to change our system as Slimani is apparently of Okazaki and Ulloa's best bits. Spending £30m buying a No10 will improve us.
