FuchingKante Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Words cannot express the hate I have for Hodgson. He could die tomorrow and I couldn't give a ****.
BoyJones Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 At least you can trust Leicester to fight, after 25 years supporting England every match at home and occasionally away, I packed it in in 2014. Tonight is a typical England performance from the last six or seven years, four or five lads trying, the rest don't play for the team. Any manager who plays both Sturridge and sterling in the same side us brain dead.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Down to pressure that has been the excuse for bloody 50 years....
shen Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Wow. I'm not even English and was rooting for Iceland, but the performance of the England team was infuriating. Atrocious, gutless, talentless. In all fairness, Iceland were never threatened. They won this comfortably and they looked dangerous every single time they were near the England box. Roy will go and it will be for the better. Until the FA hire someone with the balls to lead this team (and drop that utterly useless Rooney entirely) then England will never have a hope of anything more than progress from the group stages. Appalling.
promised land Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 We were fvcked the minute Roy picked his favourites rather than the form players. Southgate is probably next. That's the trouble, pick the inform players not the ones from the trendy London clubs. Vardy terrorised the league yet sat on the bench most the time in France, the midfielder feeding him all season was on a beach, but we take two unfit players because they come from big clubs. Rooney hasn't got the pace now so he shifts him back to midfield instead of dropping him, Kane had a mare of a tournament yet was constantly picked and taking set pieces. The best keeper we have never got a minute of game time, Hart is awful at international level, give Forrster a go.
orangecity23 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Utterly disgraceful, the final destination that Roy has had us on the road to for 4 years. The most basic of organisation is completely lacking - we might not have the best players in the world, but Iceland, Hungary, Wales, Northern Ireland and more have shown that you don't need them to be successful. What you absolutely do need to do, is pick a balanced team, and organise them to play as a unit on and off the ball. Roy has sent us out there with a lineup that's worse put together than a drunk lad pissing about on Football Manager in charge of a team he hates. Midfield without any midfielders in it, strikers on the wing, Kane constantly picked despite not showing a single moment worth bringing him for. Proper midfielders and wingers left at home, while barely fit big names and converted strikers arse about, leaving the likes of Lallana and Sturridge trying to provide width. Hodgson must go, immediately.
Dodgy Bob Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 English football needs changing, seriously. Premier League needs sacking off, FA needs a shake up. The premier league isn't responsible for basic managerial incompetence and nor is it to blame for the FA having an elderly journalist making football decisions.
m4DD0gg Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Is it correct that Iceland manager is a part time dentist? Please be true. Yup a lot of their players are part time too.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Rashford on with five mins left was mental. Might as well not even make a sub at all at that stage And he kept Kane on it is just simple stuff that Hodgson doesn't do
Sir Shep Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 I've birthed turds that could have done a better job than that tw@, now I've got to go to bed all wound up and I'll get sod all sleep, I'll f****** kill that **** if I ever see him.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Spot on WrightyYepAt least he is being honest about our shambles of a team
Vlad the Fox Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Talking about players not handling pressure, have they realised how many spurs players are in the team. Hellooooo.
Jimothy Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Dixon making some good points, but why is he now bringing up the questions about the squad selection and the not knowing the formation and team. We all knew this but the pundits have all been praising England until now, and now experimenting in the Portugal game is now an issue. We all knew this, yet the pundits see no problem until it's too late.
Izzy Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 What were the odds on an Iceland win? Also, did anyone have a flutter? Just had a text from a mate who said he won £640 on correct score. Not sure the odds he got but were Iceland like 8/1 to win or something?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Talking about players not handling pressure, have they realised how many spurs players are in the team. Hellooooo. This is true, they are huge bottlers ...
Vacamion Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Every game Joe Hart plays away next season, he's going to be faced with "You let your country down" chants. Rightly so.
lgfualol Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Yup a lot of their players are part time too. Brilliant. Even a part time dentist doesn't make his main striker take corners and freekicks. Roy the useless abortion survivor
Dan Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 I don't know where to even start. This is the absolute nadir.
The Doctor Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Better activate article fifty, a group of blokes with no discernible skills have just started heading for our borders. Seriously though, how many times does joe hart have to let in a shit shot before he gets binned?
SecretPro Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 At least we can get back to talking about the premier league champions now.
Dodgy Bob Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Talking about players not handling pressure, have they realised how many spurs players are in the team. Hellooooo. The squad selection was staggering. How Roy Hodgson could have sat and watched Alli, Walker, Rose, Kane and Dier, every one of them, completely lose their discipline against Chelsea and then capitulate to a relegated team down to ten men and think, "they'll make a good spine for my team at a major international tournament" I will never ever be able to comprehend.
Tielemans63 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 On the bright side that clueless twat will no longer be England manager after tonight. On the not so brightside the FA are absolutely shit at picking England managers. Harry Bassett is probably waiting by his phone. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
foxes_rule1978 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Hodgson excluded players that would have made a difference, but because they didn't play for the so called fancy clubs they never got a look in... Vardy showed more energy in the short time he had than any other player put together on the pitch today
