Guest Col city fan Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Just seen the list of candidates.. Good God
surrifox Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Kane. Rooney. Hart. Sterling. Sturridge. Wilshere. Cahill should never play for England again.Rose and walker can feck off too
foxes_rule1978 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Albrighton, Simpson, Drinkwater, Noble, Carroll, Townsend, Cresswelll... The list goes on and on and on..., What do we get same shit, no plan B, shit tactics, shit players who ironically don't give a shit All those type of managers were missed... and everyone offered something different
The Guvnor Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 We were so bad I have just had to pinch myself to see if all that was real. Hodgson really has just proved what we have been saying all along clueless.
fazzyfox Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 What a coward to take no further questions tonight, how about refunding your salary taken on false pretences of claiming to be managing this team this month
Izzy Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Just look at that list of potential successors. Think I'm ready to top myself...
Dodgy Bob Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Anyone feel a little sorry for the players - whilst Hodgson was in charge, they had no chance. I do feel for them a bit. They never stood a chance with Hodgson in charge. But tonight was spineless from the players as well, so they should take their fair share of the blame.
Aus Fox Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Who wrote that statement? That was read and prepared? That was handed to Roy on the way in, no way did he agave time to sit think and write that in the 15 minutes since the final whistle.
Tielemans63 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 English football has just diedThis Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Kane Rooney Sterling and Hart deserve boos and jeers next season. Abysmal from all of them
Guest Col city fan Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 If anyone suggests Gary Neville I'll cry...
sdb Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Embarrassing. But if i'm honest, it's hard to really care. Fair play Iceland. What a grim few days to be English.
The Doctor Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 People seriously suggesting Neville? Great managerial career so far.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 When Southgate is the best option you know things are bad ... it actually isn't even funny
foxfanazer Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 English football has just diedFeels that way. Crouch just inadvertently summed it upPresenter- Peter, Gareth Southgate as the next manager Crouch- Yeah why not
lestajigs Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 If anyone suggests Gary Neville I'll cry... Southgate, and I will kill myself
Guest ttfn Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 It's easy to point the finger at Joe Hart for making (another) basic error which led to a goal but football is a game of 90 minutes and many small incidents which lead (or in England's case don't lead) to incidents on which the game is decided. Today Harry Kane routinely failed to show for the ball. When he did he invariably lost it. He over hit virtually all every set piece he took. He tripped over the ball three or for times. He barely ever got himself in goal scoring positions. In short he hid and when he did show I wished he was still hiding. Daniel Sturridge's second touch was a tackle almost every time he got it. Jack Wilshere was horrendous. Over hit several passes and many of the ones he did complete were just behind his team mates so that we lost all momentum. All this whilst a key member of the league champions was watching the game on TV. It's not Hart's fault we went out. He takes a huge chunk of the responsibility but the utter failure of the 10 in front of him to create even one chance in the 70 minutes after we went behind says everything. Absolutely ashamed to be English; dreadful display from players who played without any belief, quality or (most damningly of all) COMMON SENSE. Congratulations to Iceland, by far the better team who deserved to progress.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 At least we're good at rugby and cricket. Maybe they should take a leaf out of what we have done with the rugby, appoint a manager who knows how to win at all costs
