Gibraltar has a population of 30,000, so they have roughly 15,000 men.

About half of that is too old/young to play football so that brings it down to approximately 7,500 men aged 17-36.

That basically means you could make 4 teams capable of beating Celtic from our crowd on an average matchday.

I think Oxford would beat them

Missed this tonight. Did we give 4-3-3 a go? Any of the new lads stand out particularly?

I reckon Zieler could end up being the number 1 by the start of the season. He's a classy keeper.

Also just me that thinks Kasper looks a bit too chunky?

Kasper has looked the same since he signed for us. I always questioned his weight but then you see him diving this way and that to make saves I guess it doesn't matter too much. Poor one to concede today but hopefully he's getting his mistakes from set pieces out of the way for the new season. :D

Didn't get to see the second half much. What was Amartey like?

He is not a right back, that much is clear.

Made me wonder what his near term future is like here given we put Liam Moore in central midfield over him.

It's preseason.

They've put Moore in central midfield to get him fit.

I really, really want to like Amartey and for him to do well here.

physically he is clearly a brute and does try to put himself about with his body but Isit just me that thinks he looks ridiculously nervous Everytime he's on the ball? Just needs to relax and realise he's at a club which will give him chances to develop. Slightly annoyed tonight he wasn't playing centre mid because I want to see him in develop in there, but if we are looking at selling Moore then I can see why we played him there. More running= better fitness=higher selling price. Possibly.

said pretty much the same thing, won't be long before zieler is our number 1 he looked so composed in everything he did

Some scary moments when the goal seemed to be left wide open.

Likewise I thought Elder looked very composed on the ball constantly making himself available as an outlet down the left and it was telling how confident the senior players were in his ability. Although Oxford didn't really put him under pressure.

Hard to really judge anyone in a game like that.

Yeh I thought Callum did quite well.

It was good to see a local lad getting a run.

The sun lay pretty low at that point of the game and both him and the players forming the wall were distracted by the direct daylight. Maybe I'm clinging onto straws here, but I don't think Kasper fudged that one up.

Isn't he from Australia?

I thought Amartey looked class, it's quite evident we aren't going to buy another right back so Hernandez and Amartey will fill in as and when. That's why he's been put there. Amartey can play anywhere, he is that good. I'd be surprised if he isn't a star for us this season playing everywhere. Him, Gray and Chilwell look mustard every time I see them.

Really? Didn't do anything wrong but was he 'class'?

I don't think anyone stood out overly, Gray was good in the first half, much better than Mahrez imo. James looked OK in possession but still needs to lose a bit more weight, he looked really sluggish. DD was taking the piss in the first half, Musa looks very much like Vardy MK2.

Why on earth does James 'still look overweight'? He's been back now for ages. I don't get it? If he wants to make a genuine claim for the first team he needs to be shifting that timber now.
