baldeagle Posted 19 July 2016 Posted 19 July 2016 I'm really impressed with these players he second half although James looks way of the pace
Izzy Posted 19 July 2016 Posted 19 July 2016 This games got the air of a pre season friendly about it
Spicer Posted 19 July 2016 Posted 19 July 2016 Eric Dier started as a Centre back but this season established himself as a CDM after not being great as a CB. Moore fits into the same mould and seems to be able to pass a bit as well.

I feel for him, because he came here as a highly rated DM and all we seem to do is play him at right back. Now with Kante gone i would have thought it ideal for him to have a few games there.
Thracian Posted 19 July 2016 Posted 19 July 2016 "Ranieri's got a new addition to his RAF" ... Twitter comment about Musa!

Dan Posted 19 July 2016 Posted 19 July 2016 Caught the second half. Only a friendly but given it was our first I thought we looked very good. Schlupp looked impressive on the right. James eased into it and got better. Think Musa looks very dangerous as well, he's a clever mover off the ball.
filbertstreet Posted 19 July 2016 Posted 19 July 2016 Good game that, Oxford looking pretty good for League 1 standard, some points watching it - Choudhury was great, some quality interceptions - If Mahrez left I wouldn't be worried with Gray - My dad text me "Matty James? Shouldn't be be called Fatty James" but for first game in a year and a half he played really well, some nice long passes - Zieler loves to leave the goal open - Schlupp looked dangerous - Musa is quality, can't wait to watch him - Pretty sure we sold Moore to Chelsea and gave him a Kante mask to wear Good game, less worried about losing all our players now
Merging Cultures Posted 19 July 2016 Posted 19 July 2016 FFS only 2-1. Rudkin has some explaining to do.
purpleronnie Posted 19 July 2016 Posted 19 July 2016 Well we dominated the game. But Celtic (despite what some might say), will be10 times harder than oxford. Celtic played very well beating wolfsburg and they will (knowing the scot's) fight for bragging rights about defeating the english champions.
justfoxes Posted 19 July 2016 Posted 19 July 2016 Some great performances tonight looking right and put the ball about with some great passes, missed the first half but Musa looks promising and it's going to be a great test on Saturday up Celtic park!
Thracian Posted 19 July 2016 Posted 19 July 2016 It's always good to be focused on winning. Don't recall us losing a pre-season friendly at all last season. It just focuses attention on what it's all about and helps to cement an attitude of ruthlessness that matters.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 19 July 2016 Posted 19 July 2016 Well impressed by Musa's acceleration and Moore in midfield - definitely earnt himself another chance to prove himself. Happy to see Matty James back - off the pace but that's a given for how long he's been out and how hot it is this evening. Also Schlupp, take a bow!
