What's wrong with people? We've played well for the most part. The game in general has been played at friendly pace though, so nothing to read in to here. I don't even normally watch this match.

All in all we look good going forward but I hope Mendy is at least half a Kanté else I fear for us defensively through the middle.

We need another RB and somebody more assertive in as a CAM in the rest of the transfer window although Kapustka might do the latter? I would be tempted to bring Musa on for Albrighton and drop Okazaki back with Mendy for King.

45 minutes a bit off the pace and the knee-jerk reactions are already out.

We just need a little kick up the arse and a bit more urgency going forward. Looking a bit short in the midfield too I think, but it would still be 0-0 were it not for a couple of really poor missed tackles.

Thought we played well kept our shape very well and kept them wide for most of the half. 

 

The one chance they have down the middle they score. Very little room for us to manoeuvre chances other than corners. 

 

Weak links for me have been albrighton and Simpson. Getting stretched in the middle too

Are you mental? We are playing better than we did in the game at Old Trafford in May. 

 

It is a friendly, by the way. Nobody seriously takes this match as a pointer for the season. It's headline filler until the real stuff kicks off next week.
