Lcfc_lass10 Posted 9 August 2016 Posted 9 August 2016 His celebration against West Ham was brilliant. Showed his emotion and just how much that meant to him. I love the guy.

Haydos Posted 9 August 2016 Posted 9 August 2016 Love a Leo appreciation thread. They man's done a lot for the club, looks like a great lad to have around the training ground on top of that. Brilliant signing in hindsight.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 9 August 2016 Posted 9 August 2016 Good thread. Leo's a natural finisher in the box and over the two years he's been vital for us. He's scored some real key goals and his goal record isn't too bad at all. He can hold the ball up, bring others into the game and has excellent attacking/defensive work rate. Important to keep. Leo's got a great attitude.

filbertboy Posted 9 August 2016 Posted 9 August 2016 Well said matey. I love Leo and he is surely forever a city legend. That penalty against West Ham is my favourite moment from last season simply because it took huge amounts of guts and courage to take. The guy is unbelievable and I would be gutted if we sold him. Long live Leo !

Hope he stuck to his word. I do like morons like the one you mentioned, pointlessly over the top about something trivial. Just so you know, I won't be renewing my season ticket if Schlupp is the third substitute in the second game of the season.
TheSomersetFox Posted 9 August 2016 Posted 9 August 2016 His first goal for us against Everton wasn't a header like but i completely agree with you on everything else, absolute hero is Leo. Had complete faith in him to do the business when Vardy got suspended last year but and he didn't disappoint. Love the bloke
Dan Posted 9 August 2016 Posted 9 August 2016 He is limited but I do like the bloke. Something about him that makes me really warm to him. He'll always go with my best wishes.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 9 August 2016 Posted 9 August 2016 Got a massive part to play this season when teams park the bus and we need an option. Good guy to have for CL away games too to change it up if we're under the cosh, bit of hold up play to let us get up the pitch.
foxy boxing Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 he won't be in the starting line up much for us this season unless we have injuries but he is an option off the bench that can score goals, i hope he does not get too upset that he won't be playing much and accept he is part of a team
Countryfox Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 We have so many games coming up we will need everyone .... Leo is still very important to us. I love him.
fuchsntf Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Hes going to score the winning goals, in many important one off games... one will be in the last minute of the FA-cup semi-final, to get us to the final. He'll come on a few times, to score the odd goal that saves our bacon in different phases of the CL.
Vindaloo FOX Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 got a lot of love for Leo, he has been worth every penny .
brockmyster Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 12 shots on target last year with 6 goals, and most his appearances off the bench, a very underrated player and a fantastic natural finisher
Sampson Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 The man who caused an earthquake. scored some of the most important goals in the club's history! I don't think I've celebrated a goal more than that Norwich winner. Fecking cult hero!
possiblygeorge Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Honestly would be pretty depressed if ever moves on from us. So much man love for him
Tuna Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Genuinely shouldn't be underestimated the importance of the west ham peno...the amoubt of pressure given what preceded it was unbelievable. And he stuck it away so coolly like a true hero.
Chester Dontlie Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 His name is Leo and he scored against West Ham oh Leo Leo hear us shout across the land! Mucho man love for him as well. I guess I'm a weirdo for liking both Leo and Shinji. I wouldn't want him to move anywhere.
Guy Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 It will be interesting to see how Leo does this coming season when we're defending of our much valued title! Despite the good words expressed on this thread in his cause, I personally didn't rate him last season. He was definitely a better player under Pearson throughout our great escape season than he was under Ranieri last season but that was tempered by the fact that he was consistently in the starting line up with Pearson, probably felt more a part of things and played in a more suitable formation for the most part, feeding off Vardy's pace while partnering him well, especially during our promising start that season and then in the brilliant late run to stave off relegation. By stark contrast then considering what we paid for him, then essentially Leo was relegated to being only a bit part player last season with the form of Vardy, Okazaki and co. keeping him out from the starting 11 for the most part, very often coming on when the chips were occasionally down, usually when we needed to change the formation and tactics in the second half to unsettle the opposition. I think this season is his most important one here yet and will determine his future with Leicester one way or the other. He needs to improve his overall game after last season but much like last season it really all depends on the opportunities he's afforded under Ranieri....... Nevertheless his valuable contributions over these past two seasons is still one of the main reasons why we stayed up and why we are where we are now, Champions! Not forgetting him and Cambiasso sitting down together that time to discuss how to save City from the drop!
