We have in the past signed so called players past their sell by date that have paid off ie Cambiasso, but then we have had others who only came here for one big last pay day ie Denis Wise / Martin Keown and were basically crap and Toure would come into this category.

I can't see him being motivated at Leicester if he wasn't motivated at Man City last season. China, Qatar, or the USA for him I think.

He makes 11 million running the last year of his contract out then will likely go on to China for 2 years and never work again afterward.... Dropped from the team he would normally be going crazy - he and his agent were going mental when he didn't get a birthday cake not too long ago....I do wonder if there's a little more to this one than we know. I'd take him with a return clause on loan for 80k a week and see if our sports science guys can get him motivated and fit.
