I had a similar experience in Mountsorrel

It's a regular occurrence - but not always with decomposing leaves

id given up on this deal, and quite frankly the internet posts /stories were becoming disheartening.. then "Sweinstieger in talks with Sporting" is this bullshit or is there still a chance it could be a double swoop

This is the quote that started it all off...

Any Sporting Players Company or is it just the two?

The Daily Record are claiming that our move for Adrien depends on Schweinsteigen joining Sporting, with United actively trying to get him out of the door (apparently on a free transfer). The journo who wrote it also works for The Times.

Would make sense I suppose.

EDIT: See above, Liam beat me too it by seconds...

wave his release clause? Im 100% sure you would let him go on a free.

Hes 35years old and hes your worse centerback.

Luisão is suposed to be "benfica's heart" but he wants to drain every single penny you have.

He won't leave you unless you pay him the rest of his contract salary.

#AfundaBenfifia

You were the one saying we didn't want him to leave.

That's not true.

If he wants to leave we will let him.

But he has to find a club willing to pay his salary.

Just watched the highlights from Sporting v Porto. You lot make an unbelievably good atmosphere. Great stuff. I might try and go to a game one day.

Thats probably not true. Schweinsteiger earns something like 200 000€ per week.

Yep, won't happen unless he takes a big pay cut or United subsidise his wages. He is on a free transfer, so that frees up cash to pay him a little more, but he is on about £12-13m a year at the moment. Ridiculous money. Double the wages of Neuer, almost triple that of Muller. He is due a pay cut I think!

Looking back my version appears to be a bit racist.

Nothing funnier than raging foreigners. Earlier this summer I was stopping off in Montenegro for a day or so and  I accidentally crossed into an old woman's back garden.. unknowingly ofcourse, simply to take some photos of the particular bay it was in, she proceeded to come out of her house shouting and screaming , then she decided to throw a bag of decomposing leaves at me. lol

Schweinsteiger surely isn't going to Sporting is he? Unless United heavily subsidise his wages on a loan or something

That's why they want 45m euros!!

yanited will have to pay off a big chunk of his contract when he leaves, even on a free
