Or once a team bid, we didn't have to accept, but could angle for a higher price? Either way, it wasn't a straight, pay x get player, type deal and I do think we probably could have handled it better. But he's gone, so no point worrying too much about it.

I thought Adrien was smart enough to know that by starting all this shit even if a club offers 44.9M€ we won't sell him and will put him in the B team.
