We could make a monster FIFA team these days. Wouldn't mind this as our starting lineup against weak teams, goals galore. Pace, flair, power and now strength up front and in the middle of the park along with high work rates in many positions.

That thing is useless, they've had both Mahrez and Vardy to Arsenal as 5.0, and countless other stories that have never come to anything. It seems to be based on how much it's being talked about, and not much else.

I think that's exactly whats its based on...some algorithmic combination of volumetrics and sentiment analysis heavily skewed by social media input - in other words its tosh.

His mother is French and he was born and raised in France. His dad is Portuguese, so he speaks both French and Portuguese fluently.

Que?

I have always wanted a Brazilian playing for us, failing that, the name 'Silva' on the back of a Leicester shirt is a close second...

If we sign him, where does that leave Nampalys? Oh Mendy...

We could easily switch to 4-3-3, with him and Drinky in the more defensive roles and Silva bombing on. Could also move to 4-2-3-1 with Silva in the #10 role. This signing, and Slimani, would give us lots of flexibility.

I think at some point we will experiment with 4-3-3 with Adrien, Amartey and Drinkwater in the middle and Musa, Vardy, Mahrez up top.

Also, Adrien can take a pen. Thank **** for that.

This is what is so exciting about these potential signings. It opens up so many new ways for us to play.

Could also have a midfield three of Drinky and Silva with Amartey behind

27 goals in 140 for Sporting. Impressive, we need goals from midfield.

Remember when Ranieri signed Falcao and James for Monaco and everyone lost their shit?

We're going to the next level.

Yeah, lots of options now, the squad will look very strong in forward/midfield positions. It also makes us considerably less predictable for opponents, which is always nice.

What's amazing for me is, we are more able to sign players of this calibre nowadays without being gazumped by the recognised bigger teams. Maybe this comes from the way we managed to keep so many of our top players. Sends a message to all that we aren't around to roll over and have our tummy tickled anymore

I could see us having a few formations, but with the extra games and extra options, I think there will be a lot of guys looking at 10 league games. Which is why I think we will play a fairly strong team against Chelsea in the League Cup: Both because the bench is much stronger than last year, and because Ranieri will want to keep the Cup runs going to give people playing time.

I keep saying it but the really crazy thing is that we don't *need* these signings. We already have a very decent team and after a slow start looked great for long periods at the weekend.

With 7 players coming in (if the Sporting boys join) it's inevitable that some won't make it and will ultimately be a waste. But that's football and that's fine. Inler and Kramaric are great examples of deals not working out but we had Vardy and Kante in the same period.

Hope this doesn't break the killer team spirit we have but don't see that being a risk. None of our signings come across as egotists.
