I honestly don't think our president will sell you Silva as it would be our 3rd big player sold this summer, after João Mário (Inter for 45M€) and Slimani, leaving only William Carvalho and Rui Patrício as our key player. Our manager said after last game that some player could end up mad for not being allowed to leave, and now i think he was reffering to A. Silva.

I fail to see how people think we might be playing 4-3-3 if we sign Slimani. 

 

I suspect we'll be playing the same formation that has got us a league title, My only concern if we sign Silva is both our central MF's will be ballers rather than ball winners but maybe with our defensive full backs and Silva and Drinkwater there'll be enough hard graft in our engine room. Goals in this side though

I suppose it is down to the fact silva came through their system and would hate him to turn his back on the team. Similar things happen on this forum.

Yes, the interview is legit. He says he wants to leave. But i doubt we would sell him for anything under his release clause since we already lost João Mário to Inter and now Slimani.

If the interview is legit, are you not worried by the part where he says the chairman won't stand in his way? 

 

I think it's odd that he went public with this, it's almost like he is trying to help the move through himself, which would suggest he is facing resistance from Sporting about selling him. Although he seems to say the opposite in the interview.
