Vacamion Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 Full Scottish. Like the full English but with: Tattie scones Better black pudding, the spiced stuff, not that muck full of fat you eat down there Fruit Pudding Haggis Square sausage (aka Lorne) There's a reason we all fall down clutching our chests aged about 51 up here. I used to to have it twice every weekend in my late 20s, but as the reaper began to cast his shadow, it has become an occasional treat.

I had some Spanish black pudding earlier this year, they put sugar in it , it tastes like black pudding flavoured toffee, disgusting.
Unabomber Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 One of my faves is overnight oats but not had it in a while. Basically mix oats Greek yogurt a little milk then flavours such as cinnamon maple syrup peanut butter etc then cover and put in the fridge overnight. Next day top with fruit or whatever, it's very nice.
Webbo Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 Fry up on Sundays, porridge made with water on Mondays and Wednesdays (my fasting days) and usually peanut butter on toast every other day.
Vlad the Fox Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 A few weeks back I'd ran out of jam to put in my porridge so stirred in some Nutella.
fuchsntf Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 Yes my friends..after reading all our post on this subject.. The health gestapo will be soon knocking on our doors pretty soon... I can let them happily shoot me/hang me , so long has I dont have to die healthy and can chose my last hangmans meal.... My idea would be to chose 2 breakfasts from each country on earth...That would keep the executioners from the door for a while, or a breakfast will kill me first...Out-living the health fanatics now theres an ambition. .
Countryfox Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 Porridge mostly ... (Cholesterol, blood pressure all that sh1te) ... And at the weekends ham, cheese and tomato omelette on buttered toast ... With a big mug of coffee and a few papers to read .... What a treat ! Use our own eggs of course which are soooo much better than anything you can buy, and our own tomatoes. Loved a full English and even the smell of bacon torments me to death but am a bit more sensible nowadays and all the better for it. Offal as you call it Bucey as an occasional treat is fantastic ... Just try it some time, It's worth a go .... I had liver as a kid and couldn't stand it but roughly cut with kidneys and lightly fried in butter and shovelled on toast ... To die for.

Uuuuurgh. I know that lorne sausage is shit compared to any other type of sausage and potato cakes are flavourless garbage. That Scottish breakfast sounds well hipster, like they've taken the English breakfast (which is awesome) and purposefully made it terrible just to be different. The Welsh/Irish don't do that they just have full English but with special Welsh eggs and Irish beans Favourite breakfasts: - full English, all the trimmings (not mad on mushrooms though so usually have extra tomato). Will usually settle for a bacon sarnie - Curiously Cinnamon - leftover Chinese / pizza (probably only once a year) Two I've never had but really want to try: - eggs Benedict - chicken and waffles
ScouseFox Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 fu ck me i am excited for the morning i'm gonna have prob 4 rounds of brown toast and toffee crisp cereal for dessert
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 Brown toast, white toast for pudding
Thracian Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 This morning:- pure apple juice, nuts and raisins. Breakfasts vary considerably and I'm increasingly health conscious. But if I fancy a fry up I'll have one. The calories won't easily keep up with the exercise I take!
SystonFox Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 Avocado, poached eggs, grilled bacon. lean in 15 hashtag

Carl the Llama Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 Reading through I think mine's a bit more complicated than most: First I start off with a box of Weetabix and lay 2 biscuits at the bottom of a cereal bowl then place a 3rd biscuit straddling the top of them. Next I take a bottle of milk for the dampening process: Pour the milk on in a spiral motion - it's important to do this so that the milk permeates as much of the biscuits as possible - stopping when the level of the excess, unabsorbed milk comes up to a couple of millimetres below the plateau formed by the lower 2 biscuits. This can be quite a difficult technique to get right at first but with enough practice you'll find it comes naturally. Finally I use a tablespoon to eat the biscuits starting from the more permeated lower tier, using the drier bits in their cores and the drier top biscuit to absorb the pool of excess milk formed in the pouring process. I call it weetabix and milk.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 Raisin wheats, add in some extra raisins to eat with it. It probably ends up having more sugar than a bowl off Cookie Crisp

I wouldn't know Steven having never having traveled with Thai but it was certainly available on BA's Concorde. The 'breakfast' I used to have with what I assumed to be lumpfish was a brunch put on by the Marriott in Indian Wells CA. it was fabulous

Picture this. I am sitting at the BA website having searched for and selected Concorde flights to and from the US. I have my credit card in my hand and all I have to do is pay. Yet I could not persuade myself to part with the cash even though I could afford it. Being careful with your cash is one thing; but not embracing the possibilities it can bring and just hanging on to it for the sake of it is, I have come to realise, a big mistake.
boots60 Posted 10 September 2016 Posted 10 September 2016 Grab the remains of last night's kebab off the bed side table. Sling the salad bits though

I fully understand I was in a jewelers in Philly with a gold complication Patek Phillipe on my wrist costing $13k and I just couldn't do it. A mistake really since those things are double or more in value. As to Concorde, my company always permitted us to travel business class and they had a deal with BA that allowed us to fly Concorde at just above business prices.
