Leicester City v Chelsea EFL Match Thread

It's not Wasyl's fault Jeff doesn't understand that showing one of the best players in the league onto his favoured right foot on the edge of the box is a bad idea.

Wasyl's had a terrible night but Schlupp's been directly responsible for one goal, indirectly responsible for another with a frankly ridiculously air kick and offered absolutely nothing going forward.

The biggest problem with Wasyl's sending off was that it meant we couldn't bring off Schlupp for Mahrez, which I'm certain was Ranieri's next move.

Manager has had an absolute shocker tonight

Appears to have got it wrong as the game went on

Very disappointing tonight after excellent first 40. Schlupp should have gone for £12 million. Would have been good business. Don't think Ranieri has had his best eve. Kapustka should have been on.

Is Kapustka a regular for Poland? If so, he must be a bit frustrated.

Yes he is. Probably a bit frustrated as well. I love Schluppster to bits but don't think he should be playing in his current physical condition, he's just not fully fit yet

Hate to say it but don't really see a place for Was anymore. Literally every time he gets a game now he gets sent off. Absolutely ridiculous by him and ****ing selfish knowing we would be chasing for an extra 30 and our actually decent players like Drinky need a rest.

People do realise this is the league cup right? Jesus calm down beat by a better squad on the night. Chin up we go again with our first team on Saturday!  Calm down ffs

Chelsea fans treating this like a world cup final lol "Champions of England, you're having a laugh?" We've made 8 changes from our usual team you clowns because it's a micky mouse cup we could do without. Still annoying how we've ****ed up though

Yeah I think thats it for him now too much of a ****ing liability. Discraceful actually.

Playing drinkwater for 120 mins is just ****ing wrong ahead of united at the weekend.

Least they play tomorrow night, extra days rest.

Reminds me a bit of my least favourite game when we threw away a 2 goal lead to lose 4-3 to Wolves.

Roll on Saturday when hopefully we'll erase this from the memory with a victory over United!

What's worse is that this is horrible prep for saturday.

United coming off the back of the 3 losses already made saturday big for them, but now they're playing a team who played 120 minutes and threw away a 2-0 lead. They'll be licking their lips.

Huge massive game this weekend and we have important players in the pitch having to through this extra time having to also fill In for someone's massive mistake going down to ten men and some awfully poor substandard performances by some I really hope we don't suffer in the league for tonight's debacle !!

This is probably the biggest downer.  I can live with losing and playing crap, but wasting drinky is just plain stupid

Tbh, I thought this was on the cards at half time. I just wish it hadn't gone to extra time.

Waz has been a liability. I think CR has been in 2 minds all game. I'd rather we'd given more players a rest and got beat in normal time.

Chilwell has potential but to even contemplate chucking him into the first team in the Prem would be madness.

Victor has had him on toast all night I'm afraid.
