Corky Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 No, didn't misunderstand you, just asking how you felt about your chances.

Those others you tirely mention, have had their yearly chances and didnt crack it. We have..!!! I am an optimist, you sir are a poor down trodden pessi.... Oh come on.. manure, chelscum etc are better then us, this group is poor, I doubt there has been one so poor, just because we have done something doesn't mean other teams cant. It's a theoretical discussion and am willing to disagree with you..,...and yes I am down trodden...
foxes_rule1978 Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 In fact I saw the likes of Man U and Liverpool make a meal of it in that lower league competition the Europa tinpot 7 minutes ago, Dr The Singh said: We've lost to lesser teams, what you say is bs with cream on top Not really you are making assumptions with no proof... just that they are better so should win, when in reality we know that doesn't happen. We have done fantastic in this competition and really can't complain about a well earnt point away to a team that haven't lost the last 33 at home. Including European matches. Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea would struggle to match this just as they were miles from us last season. And I wouldn't be putting any money down on them not conceding in their first four, bloody hell Man U are having a hard time in the Europa League

It's not though, because we could lose our next two and still go through on goal difference that's currently plus four. It's a must draw, at the most. I'd obviously love to win it though.

All right, as i said, it comes down to the game against Porto, i cannot but them in a box, they weren't good against us at their turf, but it can go either way. I think we will win in Brugge, either way.
Master Fox Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Brugge are out. We're going to hammer them at home

I agree to disagree, we've been thrashed so many times this season, I fail to see how last season has helped that. Let's hope we continue to have clean sheets etc, and go all the way to the final
Leicesterpool Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Sounded a complete bore fest tonight, no way I thought I'd say them words when Leicester are featuring in the champions league. Team sheet tonight was questionable, a win tonight and that's the group done and dusted with one game to spare. I know he's maybe trying to rotate the squad and rest certain players, but when you look at our run up of fixtures following this... However a draw is still a good result, we're still well on course. I don't think before the tournament began we'd be moaning about drawing away at Copenhagen. Just disappointed for the fans that travelled, I'm sure they had a good day in Copenhagen but a shame about the football.
steveherbe Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Have a laugh lads, go over to the fighting cock and witness mass suicides. Warning though, if you are offended by racism and disgustjng language, dont bother Just had a message from lads in the ground, "Fans were poor, we gave it everything but no-one was bothered". Thought they sounded ok on tv?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Just got home and watching it now, umm great point to be fair

FireFox Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 18 minutes ago, Foxxed said: There's only one way we don't qualify. If we lose our next two (10 points still), then Copenhagen win their next two (11 points), with Porto winning against us (10 points), making Porto level, trying to make up a four goal difference. A draw against Brugges and we can send the kids to Portgual and concentrate on the league. Actually, it's head to head first. So Porto would have to win by 2 goals. Or a 1-0 and then place 2nd via total goal difference or total goals scored. Even if we draw against Bruges we will want to finish top spot (well, actually maybe not), so we won't send the kids to Porto. Quote Table order: 1. points won; 2. points in head-to-head matches; 3. goal difference in hth matches; 4. goals scored in hth matches; 5. away goals in hth matches; 6. total goal difference; 7. total goals scored; 8. better UEFA Team Ranking.

StriderHiryu Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Not a great display but we came not to concede and achieved that. First team in CL history not to concede in our first 4 games! That game was there for the taking but we did the right thing. Tactically we setup for a pure counter, the strange thing is that Copenhagen were again reserved and never took a risk, so ended with a stalemate. They are the team that are in trouble, not us. Claudio the tactical don got it right. Lets rock the KP later this month!

The point was huge for us but for them it wasn't much.

ScouseFox Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 clearly went for a 0-0 clearly got a 0-0 we just started jeff schlupp in a champions league game. we are winning.
RobHawk Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Absolutely livid, what a load of crap, I mean we won the league last year and should be like Real Madrid this year and on 8points and second in or group in the champions league instead of 10 points and top!
goose2010 Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Would of took a draw before the game, hard place to go and pitch looked shocking. One point about Gray not playing he had to be careful what he is tweeting and be careful if he is frustrated tweeting 'zzzzz' (emoji) tonight could easily be interpreted in the wrong way!
