Webbo Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Mahrez improved in the second half, you couldn't take him off at 0-0. PS I see Spurs are fcking up England's co efficient, why do we let teams like that enter the competition and embarrass the country?
Dr The Singh Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Just now, Swan Lesta said: Wins header or runs with ball, gets stripped, gives away possession and repeat. Lethal. I thought it was therapeutic!!
Foxxed Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 A failure in the midfield for me. It's a pity Mendy is injuried. He could have given Drinky a deserved rest. Amartey is just not clicking as yet. Mahrez and Vardy were our most threatening players. Schulpp wasn't terrific, he was the same level as mostly everyone else. I really can't see us working with anything else than a back four. I don't think right back is Hernandez's natural position, although he's very solid. If he clicks with Morgan I think he'd be a good CB replacement. At least Shinji and Slim will be rested come Sunday. And this result pretty much guarantees the last sixteen.

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Decent draw. poor game. Strange team selection
Corky Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Thought both full-backs had good games, Hernandez has impressed me in this competition.

lnkstern Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Well good, I won't have to look much at the recorded match tomorrow night! j/k Sounds like Claudio set up for a clean sheet, and if we nicked a goal for 0 - 1, that would be even better. Didn't score, so we get a 0 - 0. I am perfectly fine with a point against a decent opponent on the road in a different country.

kingston_fox Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Came for a draw, got a draw... an ugly one at that. At least they should he rested for the w/e
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 When will Mendy be mended? Not to overly pressure him but he must be our creative salvation and sprinkle magic football dust on our style of play. Ok?
Oxshottfox Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 I think Fuchs is by far and away the best player we have in the team. Think this is over looked from last season, he never looks flustered.
ajthefox Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Still unbeaten and a point away from home isn't bad but that was a fvcking horrendous game of football and a half decent team could've smashed us. Watching Danish football must be god awful if Copenhagen are far and away the best team in their league.

EastAnglianFox Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Shinji is now the most important player in our squad imo!
Jaspa Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Unless you were neutral I don't see how that was boring. First half we were terrible, lack of movement, bad organisation, slack errors so I was stressing abit. Second we dominated, we pressed, we moved ourselves, the opposition and the ball well for most of the half, couple of counter attacks and a load of diving about from Santander. If we perform like we did in the first half against most sides we should lose, certainly a good point but we have to grasp consistency somehow.
Benguin Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Decent point when you think about it, my only nag was the entertainment factor of football was non existent tonight, I went for a slash during the match and I very rarely do that for fear i'd miss something. Kind of agree with some of the Mahrez comments, he doesn't seem as passionate any more.
AjcW Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 I've not seen the likes of that since Yeovil when Kasper scored/didn't score.... pleased to see he was the hero again. Are we allowed to send Jeff out to stud now? Or put him down? Either or!

He's had some poor moments but he's not even got a half Premier League season under his belt. People said the same about Vardy and Drinkwater when they weren't world beaters 10 mins after signing for City but given a bit of time they've done pretty well.
