Who do you want? - Jan 2017

Hertha Berlin & FC Koln play a similar style of football to us. Wouldn't mind nicking a couple of their defenders.

Frederik Sorensen (FC Koln) - A no-nonsense defender he switches between CB/RB regularly and has a monster throw like Hernandez.

Dominique Heintz (FC Koln) - Can play CB/LB. Good on the ball.

John Anthony Brooks (Hertha) - CB/LB. Beast.

Mitchell Weiser (Hertha) - RB. Can attack/defend like Fuchs & will be a German International soon.

Brooks doesn't actually play week in week out at Hertha, does he? He's a decent enough player but he's living off that goal for the US in 2014 a little. Haven't they been playing Niklas Stark at centre half? Now he's the bloody boy.

Brooks has just got back from injury. Similar to Mendy, not injury prone he's just been unlucky this season. Last season he was a rock.

Stark, is an interesting one. I think he looks better at CDM. At CB he makes some mistakes, but he's still young. He'd be a signing for the future.

Brooks/Weiser/Sorensen could make an instant impact.

What about Jorgensen from FC Copenhagen. Thought he played well against us in CL.

I'm suprised we haven't been linked. Don't we usually go for players who have played well against us? Gray, Ulloa etc.

He's more consistent than he's ever been. Stark's great if a bit sluggish.

Weiser is a cracking prospect. Might be on the short side for a right back in the PL mind.

Still surprised no-one has room the gamble on him. He had a touch of 'Van Dijk' about him, really athletic and quick.

Copenhagen fans said he had an agreement with the club to leave at the end of the season.

I think he's exactly what we need aswell. He's 26 so he's at a decent age and looked comfortable on the ball. Also, he's 6ft 3?

West Ham have offered £3m for Snodgrass so if Jeff goes, surely he would be a good option. Thought he would be more than that. Contract must run out soon.

Aleix Vidal could be available this window if Barca sign Srna. I'm sure we enquires about him in the summer?

Everton have enquired about Sigurdsson too, would be stupid to not make a move for him with the amount of goals & assists he offers.

They've just lost his CB partner who had agreed to stick around until January so I certainly can't see them shipping another one off!

James McCarthy looks on the outs at Everton. Don't know that we still need competition in the middle now that Ndidi has arrived and Mendy is back from injury but I massively rate him.
