and this is an exotic meat store where you can find everything you want but havnt even checked prices and i would expect it to  very expensive but you would find EVERYTHING unusual there...

Alligator was pretty disappointing. It tastes like chicken, but a bit more chewy.

 

Like MPH said, you could do raw kibbeh (which is usually beef and/or lamb). I just dont know how well that keeps, you probably have to eat that right away. Something better to eat at the restaurant. 

 

Other thoughts: what about something seafood related. A lot of weird things you could eat out of the sea: Eel, fish with the heads on, etc.

Frogs legs would also be good.

Had it last year in the Balkans. Brain was good but I draw the line at eyes.
