Musa - Opinions so far

Recommended Posts

Glorified Schlupp.

Headless roadrunner with one of the worst first touches for a winger "striker" i've ever seen. All in the pace and nothing in the football brain whatsoever. Has nothing to do with coming from another league, some things can't be learned.

Might be useful one day against knackered or slow FB. Maybe.

can we get a refund

Wasn't there a rumour doing the rounds that we quite literally could get a refund for the bloke. CSKA Moscow linked with taking him back in January.

If they slapped even ten million on the table I'd be taking it, no doubt.

I can't be the only 1 that thought Musa offered more in the 15 mins he was on the pitch than Albrighton has since Brugge.... surely

Albrighton has been utterly wank since Bruges but honestly Musa is a whole new level.

If CSKA want him back then I will personally escort him back myself just to make sure he doesn't put on a shirt for us again. Write of the £16m and forget he ever existed.

You've got to be proper virginal to edit someone's Wiki page and that's coming from me, a man with 20k+ posts on a football forum.

I was always of the opinion that Musa needed time to adapt and that there must be a player in there somewhere, we'd scouted him for a while and that was when our recruitment was first rate - it's difficult for anybody to make a massive impact in cameos here and there but he can't continue to be as dross as he was tonight (although he would've had an assist had Leo netted).

It's an odd one, I don't feel like hope is lost with him but it's becoming difficult to see him as anything other than a pricey mistake right now. I don't think anybody seems to know what his best position is and the system we're currently using accommodates about 1 in 5 attacking players natural positions. Mergh.

He was basically bought on the raw attribute of speed, as replacement or cover for vardy. So we could continue have the fast goal threat if/when vardy was missing.

I think our then recruitment thought they could develop him. In theory it should be possible to adapt better to this league. But seeing as he's closer to 40 than he is to 20, i would say there's little hope of him improving

I'm interested to see how he does next season. A lot of players coming from different leagues tend to take a year to get used to the step up in quality.

I don't see how people can complain at £16 mil for the top scorer of the Russian champions and he's only 23 (maybe).. a snip.

Hope he doesn't get another season here! In fact one more month of paying this chump's wages will do then lets ship him off for as small a loss as possible

He can't control or kick the ball properly, I expect a bit more for 16million.
