We paid £8m for him two and a half years ago. Shame we're shit cos otherwise we could and should sell him to Sunderland. But we're rivals now.

Yeah 7m is a great amount for him, if it wasn't Sunderland. I'd take it anyway, because 7m is better than having Ulloa moan and probably be disruptive to the rest of the team until he finally gets to leave.

I've just looked on the channel that made this,

I found one saying us winning the league wasn't such a big deal when you take into

account our net spend??

So spending money = league success

so what about all the clunks who spent more than us? Plus we started from a lower position as we had to upgrade championship players to a premier league.

funny how that doesn't work with Sunderland and does for us..

'Highly reluctant' translates as the offer not being good enough..

I have a feeling they'll come back with a £9m offer and we will accept. They just sold van Aanholt for £14m so they got a bit of cash.

If we sell him with no incoming players there will be a right meltdown on here.

I can't imagine they'll pay more. He'll have zero sell-on value, has not scored a lot in the last 18 months, not great with the ball, etc. I said before, I know he is rated a lot by our fans but nobody else can see it.

Worst case scenario and they get relegated then at least he's a proven goal-scorer in the championship.

...we'd better keep him!

Throw in a 500k buy-back clause then if we go down  Good bit of business.

he was down the kp earlier,

he was in a mini, driving with 2 others in his car trying to get in the car park at the hotel opposite the kp,i approached his car and he reluctantly put his window down,I thanked him for his time with us but he didn't really seem interested and seemed more pissed off that he had been spotted and after shaking his hand he quickly drove into a parking space at the back of the hotel, where there seemed to be some press gathering

Will be good for them, defo loves playing off a tall striker, and his already doing well for Sunderland so can only imagine this will improve them

Hasn't Moyes always played 1 up front? Can see him being used instead of Defoe as a different option rather than them playing together. Can't see him playing Defoe out wide.
