How far can Eddie Howe go?

Recommended Posts

It's obviously early days, but do you think he could be a top top manager? or is he likely to end up like Glenn Hoddle in your opinion?

Does he have obvious weaknesses? or could he hit the top with a bigger budget?

Would you take Howe TODAY?

Personally I think if he goes to a top 6 club he will win the League.

Just to clarify I want Ranieri to stay and succeed, but i've wanted Howe as manager for a long while now, and would take him should we be in a similar situation come the end of this season.

Providing we stay up, and Wenger goes on for another year, we could have a chance of taking him, only worry is, when wenger retires he's an obvious fit.

Thoughts?

I'd snap your hand off for us sacking Claudio and recruiting Howe right now

I'm sort of leaning on that myself, i hate to disrespect Claudio, i absolutely worship the man, but Howe is the future and has shown how tactically adept he is, he has the potential to be a world class manager at this stage.

Done an absolute tremendous job at Bournemouth. Now sitting in their highest league position ever.

I imagine he will get a move to a bigger club one day.

What's the difference between a top manager and a top top manager?

A top Top manager would be superb for our club.

He's done a brilliant job but I think because he's reasonably young and English people are going overboard, if he's to leave Bournemouth (which I hope he does because they're an annoying sit club) he need to go to a club where he'll get time as well as trust. I actually think if Pochettino left Spurs they'd try and get Howe which would be an interesting move if so.

He's a right wet wipe and I'd hate him to come here. There's nothing worse than some ponsy little scrote like Howe or Brendan Rogers who the media gush over because "they play football the right way" fvck off.

Give me someone like Nige or Big Sam anyday of the week because they seem like proper blokes you could have a pint with. No Eddie I don't want to hear about your ball playing centre halves drink your Amstel or whatever European lager you're drinking this week and do one. At least Claudio has a bit of banter about him where he has a laugh Howe just seems like a humourless drip.

How far can he go? Hopefully to the end of Bournemouth pier, then about 50 feet down. Get him rammed down my throat every time little Bournemouth win a bloody match.

He'll eventually move to a bigger club, get found out and flop. He'll be managing in the Championship in 5 years time.

So he's coming to leicester then?

Howe has done a fantastic job at Bournemouth spending lots of money.

He's a glorified Sean Dyche.

A manager needs to prove himself at more than one club for me to call him a  top manager

Everyone forgets he had a rather uneventful spell at Burnley.

is he that good? not in my opinion the bloke hasnt exactly done it on a shoe string budget has he!

He is a likeable guy that happens to be English which will one day get him the England Job.

I dont think any of the top 5 clubs would go for him if they sacked their managers.
