Personally I'm concerned about Adama Traore today. He tore Utd's defence apart several times on Saturday. Not the best final product from what I've seen but his pace and direct style could cause our (worryingly slow at times) defence problems

That's why I hope Chilwell starts, despite it being 'obvious' to many that Fuchs comes in as one of the rotations...

This will be a tough game. We were very lucky to escape with a draw at the KP. That said in that game after we equalised we were on top until conceding on the counter attack. Negredo had a great game that day so have to be aware of him at all times.

I think this game will come down to the small details. Concentration will be important today.

At least he has two weeks to recover. worrying though, given he had a knee injury.

Expect a ponderous performance like we saw in the reverse fixture.

without him today, I think we will struggle against their way of playing.

We need to start winning away games, starting today, we have so many tough home games in the second half of the season that we can't just rely on our home form getting us to safety, away wins will be needed and this is one of the games we should be winning.

Leicester City travel to Middlesbrough on Monday January 2 for the game at the Riverside Stadium and the match carries a 12.30pm kick off for screening on Sky Sports.

Referee: Robert Madley
Linesmen: M Perry and P Kirkup
Fourth Official: J Moss

Match Day referee Madley has officiated 17 games in 2016/17 with a return of 75 yellow cards and two red cards.

This season his highest card count was eight between Tottenham and Liverpool in August.

He took in 35 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 96 yellow cards and six red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Chelsea and West Ham in March with eight yellows being shown, prior to that Chelsea and Southampton in October saw seven yellows.

No Drinky? Oh dear. I'm fearing we're in for a dour 0-0. Would LOVE to be proven wrong and for us to go on and win it in style. I am stoked I can watch this at a decent time for once, but very annoyed the boys basically have no time to recover. Same for Middlesbrough, obviously, but I think the quick turnaround will mean a ponderous game for both players and fans. Madness.

Oh no, not him again, despise the man, no doubt they'll be a couple of ridiculous decisions made by him again.

I wouldn't be surprised if Gray is dropped to the bench following his disciplinary by the club. Personally wouldn't be averse to Chilwell AND Fuchs starting to give that flank some real solidity. Both are capable of overlapping and getting forward when necessary too

To be honest on Saturday vs West Ham, I thought Drinkwater looked tired at times, and given he's only just come back from injury I wouldn't risk him playing two games in two days. Bring King or Mendy in alongside Amartey. Or King & Mendy maybe.

No Drinky (and possibly no Slim)? Might be an idea to go all out defensive and play for the 0-0? Chilwell/Fuchs on left, Albrighton/Simpson on right, Ulloa/Okazaki up front, Amartey/Mendy in midfield?

Sad thing is I'd take a draw. How times changes.

No Drinky and Madley as ref. The prospect of watching this game just worsened 10-fold.

Brilliant. Another game, another inconsistent and crap ref.

I mentioned 'Meddle-y' in another thread after the West Ham game. Alongside the guy that refereed the Porto home fixture his constant stoppages against Spurs away completely robbed the game of flow and rendered it practically unwatchable. Appalling referee - expect crap, late decisions, discontinuity and more inconsistency.

Madley as ref and Moss 4th official. That's the dream team!
