crazyleicester Posted 3 January 2017 Posted 3 January 2017 Tony Spearing. Everything about him was awful. I used to watch from the stands thinking that he must have been the nephew of one of the board or something as he shouldnt have bene a professional footballer.
Guest Electric Yetis Posted 3 January 2017 Posted 3 January 2017 Jacob Laursen was utter turd. Nathan Blake is another that springs to mind.
PAULCFC Posted 3 January 2017 Posted 3 January 2017 For a one off game...Roman Bednar away against Millwall,New years day 2010'ish and Beckford against the hammers away....got the arse when we booed him off.

I don't agree though, my list includes: Elvis Hammond Tom English Rab Douglas Gregor Stevens Alan Evans Steve Thompson ( the crap one)

Ted Maul Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 Joe Hammill. Dreadful player from a dreadful era.
Koke Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 Josh Low was just shocking. He was too tall for a winger to begin with, 6'1 or 6'2. We as a team were dreadful relegation fodder and Low stood out as being the worst player on the field numerous times. Elvis Hammond (ankle) was pretty bad. Stephen Hughes too. Remember Andy Johnson, the long haired fella we signed from WBA. Him and Hughes were the worst CM partnership in the last decade.

Diabolical that he got anywhere near the professional game... I always remember 1 game where he constantly received the ball in the middle of the pitch and he constantly got the ball caught in his feet with him spinning on the spot trying to untangle his own feet. Still to this day i think he is the most shocking player (ability wise) to play for us
Leicesterpool Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 Martyn Waghorn ... well good on his loan spell but when he joined permanently he was never the same.
leicesterlad1989 Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 Probably not the worst but watching Ryan McGivern at left back used to make me angry.
Guest Col city fan Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 Surprised Harry Kane ain't been thrown in. For us, he was basically pants. Was played out of position though and clearly didn't want to be here. From the player we saw at City, to the player he is now...amazing transformation. Bednar is a decent shout too.

King and Amartey are Keane and Scholes by comparison.

If Chris Weale is the worst player you've ever seen turn out for us then you haven't seen many games, he's not even the worst goalie - see his replacement... He was a decent enough 'keeper who lost all confidence once Pearson left.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 Weale is a truly laughable suggestion tbf, pretty much all the keepers sven tried to replace him with that season were miles worse.
Ian S Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 Pat Byrne. Always seemed to go sideways never forward.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 I can just about accept a poor player but I can't tolerate not trying. Yakubu at times was mesmeric. However, one performance at Forest was the laziest I think I've ever seen from a City player. I don't get angry much but that day he had me seething.
