I'm just so demoralised. Been completely outclassed by a team who we're supposed to be competing with. This is the lowest I've felt since we've been back in the premier league. The fact that our manager who guided us to the greatest moment in our club's history is stood on the sideline looking completely deflated just makes it even sadder. The fact that we find ourselves talking about some of our title winning heroes in such a way too. Just feel horrendous.

there's no real excuse we can have for being this low down after the amount of money he's spent in the summer. We're genuinely in a relegation battle and are losing it with a wimper, I still think it'll take us till we slip into the bottom 3 for the owners to finally wake up

We are being schooled week in week out.

We have been easily outplayed by pretty much every side we've come up against. Not really created a chance in last 5 league matches

Saints boss in dangerous territory

20 January 2017

Southampton v Leicester City is by no means the best game of the weekend in the Premier League, but our traders will be keeping a very close eye on proceedings. That’s because Saints boss Claude Puel is continuing to be backed in the Premier League Sack Race.

Having been priced up as an unlikely outsider at 9/1 in the market two weeks ago, a run of four consecutive defeats has seen his odds fall to 13/2.

Defeat against the Foxes this weekend though could well see the Frenchman backed into favouritism.

Benny, Chilwell and Kapustka deserve a run of games. Don't care what anyone says.

Chilwell yes.

Why do the other two deserve a run of games? They've not been getting into a struggling team which surely means they're not up to it.
