Likelihood of Ranieri being sacked?

Recommended Posts

Personally I can't see it but there are a few suggestions being branded about. I love him and would be sad to see him go.

Whats the odds of him being sacked?

We were bottom of the league for 5 months and they didn't sack Pearson, we're 5 points above the relegation places and have never been in the bottom 3 this season. I'm not saying it couldn't happen but I don't see it any time soon.

Won't be sacked unless we're actually in the relegation zone and even then I think he'd be given plenty of time. I think to be honest he wouldn't be sacked even if we were to be relegated. He might resign though.

I hate saying it, but something is wrong... it isn't about tactics or formations, it is something deeper. That probably can't be fixed by Ranieri and we require a new manager to come in and put the players in their place.

Ranieri was brilliant last season, he got the subs spot on, tactics were second to none, but if the players aren't playing for you then there isn't much that can be done. You only have to look at how much Chelsea improved once Mourinho went

The sad thing is although we was bottom under Pearson, our performances in defeat were more often than not really good, never losing by more than 2 goals, and unlucky some games, right now we're getting outplayed with no fight,we seems worse now than we was then yet are higher up in the league,I'm fully behind Claudio but the team seems like it's got no confidence, and even though they stood by Pearson,we was bottom of the league and realistically preparing for relegation,I think that 'as a business model',that scenario would be horrific for the owners on the back of last season and they won't take the risk that we'll better our great escape of a few seasons back, instead bring someone new in?

He'll be given the option to walk should it come down to it.

And he obviously won't, so what happens then?

I doubt it.

I don't think the owners actually know much about football really do they?

Earlier today I actually thought, maybe it's time for Claudio to go. Then I just misread a headline and thought he'd been sacked, I was pretty gutted to be honest!.

So really puts me back on the fence!.

Maybe not,but there wealth suggest they know how to run a business, which is what we are

Fairly low, I would suggest. Our owners have, on the whole, not been quick to sack a manger when the team is struggling. That's worked for us before and I don't expect them to change their approach now with a coach who has shown that he can get results.

On what basis? They probably know more than you.

I honestly blacked a lot of the 14/15 season but can people remind me if we were this bad with the ball that season? Were we utterly incapable of passing to a blue shirt?  We had Morgan + Wasilewski for many games at CB.

It seems like we've become progressively worse with the ball lately.

Should have gone with a poll

Should we sack Claudio ( the man who led the club to it's greatest ever achievement ) ?

Or should he stay ?

Image result for should i stay or should i go gif

Be careful what you wish for people

About 50/50 at the moment I reckon.

If it wasnt for last season he would be gone by now. 2 3-0 defeats in a row and the manner of them have to be very worrying regardless of recent history.

The club might be wishing for him to go but might also be clinging to the hope that he'll put together a run of form and for him to 'retire' at the end of the season so as not to spoil the 2015/16 story.

Personally I think that slowly he has begun to erode the Pearson Legacy from 2009-16. Rivals will criticize us for having short memories but 7 years of by and large solid progress is as important to the narrative as the 'miracle'. Nothing can top winning the premier league but it shouldnt be forget the depths we had fallen to before reaching the promised land. When promotion was secured my wish for the club was to equal or better the 6 seasons in the top flight under O'Neill. Right now we look close to relegation which could bring us right back to a 2002/03 scenario.

Ideally I'd still wish he could turn this around but I've been saying this for about the last 10 weeks and its getting more of a concern every week.
