Stevosevic Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 This is in no way a criticism of Kasper, just out of interest. When was the last time he saved a penalty? I remember in his first 2 seasons he saved quite a few for us, but I'm struggling to remember one since Boro at home in the snow.

The save rate for penalties is just over 10% so there is no shame in his record anyway. Cincinnati Fox Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 Its because he (like most goalkeepers) guesses and even I can tell which way he is going to dive. He should react after the ball is kicked and he would have a better chance of saving a poor penalty and anything down the middle

But you'd normally expect the penalty taker to score regardless. Yesterday was needless to give it away in the first place.
Fox92 Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 Yeah, he saved one at Barnsley when we should have lost about 9-0. He dives far too early. But I'm not criticising him. He's been our best player this season and without his command of the box we'd have lost 6-0 yesterday.
