Drinkwater has been a disgrace today. Every time he gets in turns around and passes it backwards.

Maybe but he's one of the few who wants the ball, he's have to come so deep as the CB can't pass, he's options are limited. If the CB could player the ball he could be getting on the half way line.

Easy to blame them, but once again a total lack of options. Our supposed ball players don't even show for the ball most of the time.

Amount of times DD hides, or passes responsibility to them is ridiculous. Would rather have bloody Mendy there.

Ridiculous when early in the game N'didi was going mad telling people to create options for the back line and it fell on deaf ears and got whacked forwards.... that's the new 20 year old trying to force the basics out of old pros.

It's shit on so many levels, we're not offering any sort of movement but hoofing the ball to a 5'10" speed merchant? Primary school students could tell you that is down right moronic.

We never went this long without scoring under Pearson.

We never lost by more than 2 under Pearson.

We always looked like we were trying under Pearson.

Plus, expectations were much lower. Pearson wasn't taking the pissing champions to the trapdoor.

We started reasonably and looked up for it. I actually thought Simpson looked alright for 25 minutes but that didn't last and collectively we became progressively afraid with the ball. Sadly, Ndidi lost his man for the opener and Kasper's throw set up the second, two players who have actually been leading lights in recent weeks. Pity. Drinkwater looks frightened every time the ball comes near him. Morgan and Huth have concrete boots. Huth could well have seen red though that would have been harsh, but his stupidity set up the chance for the goal.

45 minutes to save Claudio I think might be the case. He needs to act bravely.
