SecretPro Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 People forget the role of the captain - to energise the team, lift team spirit, dish out orders, take rap when shit goes wrong, organise the team, motivate the players. Wes does none of those. I think having a strong captain could make a significant difference to the team ethic and the style of play. Imagine having someone organising the team and telling everyone how to play when the only thing they know how to do is lump it.

SecretPro Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Not ungrateful at all, have always given him his dues BUT moaning about change, being shit etc and at the same time labelling players as legends, hero's, Undroppable and saying "look what he's done for us" is half the problem. You either want to win or you don't. We are talking about THIS season. Do you want to stick Lineker up top? Too many players dining out on past glories and blue tinted specs won't keep us up.
