Sevilla (A) Match Thread

Everything that can be said has been said. But I just keep coming back to how these players either can't or won't play for Ranieri this season. We can't change them. We simply have to change him. It's terribly sad, but personally I haven't seen another option for weeks.

When they have players that can pass the ball like they can, closing down quickly becomes very difficult

Come on Baz Musa made no attempt to close down shockingly lazy

Out thought,

Out tackled,

Out passed,

Out headed,

Out moved,

Out tried.

Don't be ridiculous

You're the one who's ridiculous. The only players pressing are those upfront, the rest is just looking. There is about 10 yards between them and the rest.

Drinkwater is shit. Musa is shit. Huth is shit. Morgan is shit. Fuchs is shit.

I was never expecting us to go to Sevilla and win, let alone even draw, however I was expecting to see some passion, some determination, and some players really giving their all, in what will likely (apart from the second leg) be the last time they ever play at this level.

Instead we've watched 10 chumps trundle around the field looking like they couldn't give a ****, with no clue of what they're doing, they look absolutely hopeless and lost.

Hopefully Ranieri out after this.

Looking at how bad Drinkwater is,

Is it time to go back to basics for the future?

.                          Schmeichel

Drinkwater     Wague        Benny     Chilwell

Mahrez           Ndidi           King         Gray

                       Musa          Slim

Musa can't get a break and has not adapted but atleast he runs (that said who could in this team of dross)

Our season fell apart when dd got suspended   injured. ..lost form

It will only get better when his form returns

Same as every week, don't pass, don't support, don't press but don't sit deep, don't defend, don't attack... just spread out as far as you can and stand there awaiting the ball to be smashed 50ft in your vague direction.

True. Individual mistakes keep costing us but it is clear to see that the players have no no idea what they are doing. There seems no game plan and no organisation. It showed this when musa and mahrez were pressing on the edge of their box and they turned round and all our other players were in our half. If the plan is to press then why are only 2 players pressing. If the plan is to sit deep, why are musa and mahrez chasing their defenders like headless chickens.

I don't even blame CR after this, our players are just not good enough. Not one player would get in that that Sevilla squad.

Well Mr Ranieri, it's like this.... the tracking's out, weird indicators, dodgy brakes, no lights, you can see from the crap coming out the exhaust that the engines fvcked and the wiper blades are split so you can't see what's ahead of you...

Yes, but can you just get it through the MOT so I can use it for one more year?

Not overly impressed with Sevilla, apart from Sarabia.

Why play Musa instead of Gray?

Should have started with five in midfield - Amartey instead of Musa.

I think we can beat these at the KP- just make sure we keep it tight and they only have a one or two goal advantage

We'll score three this half...

Nah. I'm fooling no one.

Let's hope we concede fewer than four.

I hope we score just so our away end can go mental for the first time in absolute donkeys. They deserve something to cheer about.
