grth2004 Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Jap stam would be the choice for me , I know he's unproven in the prem but he's doing an amazing job at reading and would be the perfect man to sort our defence out for the run in

ajthefox Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Do people wanting Mancini seriously think this is the guy to stop the rot? I wouldn't complain but I really don't see Mancini as the man to come in and turn this shambles into a resolute team.
Happy Fox Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 We need someone with prem experience in our predicament. We aren't getting a new defence not until the summer so we have to make do with what we have. I think we need someone who will command respect of the players egos!

Clever Fox Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Whoever we get can't change the playing personnel until the Summer. But what he can do is get the defence playing as a unit and players playing in their correct positions.
fazzyfox Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Re Shakespeare the rule goes that the caretaker manager gets a couple of decent results, gets given the job on a permanent basis then everything goes pear shaped. I could see it happening though and it would be the least disruptive change even if he has his own system and line up in mind. Having said that the arrival of a foreign manager new to our league has hardly disrupted Hull. The candidates list will take a day or two to look more realistic there's always a hastily compiled one that looks ridiculous later on.
Phube Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 At least we've got our esteemed Director of Football on the case. We can't lose!
smr Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Anyone who thinks we're getting Pearson is severely deluded. After the damage he caused to the Thais and ownership, image is everything to Vichai and Top.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 It has to be someone popular that the fans would get behind. You don't sack the most popular and most successful manager in the clubs history and replace him with any old rubbish. Has to be either Mancini or O'Neill. Yeah the over-riding emotion on this forum is one that seems to accept and be content with the decision, but there are ALOT of fans who aren't happy about this. The board needs to pick someone popular that the fans will get behind.

wardyfox86 Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 We've had possibly 4 or 5 years of progression playing a very similar style between them, it may be refreshing to see somebody come in with a different style and see where it takes us.
Sir Shep Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 It'll be Shakey I think, until the end of the season, players I presume respect him, knows the club, probably won't play Musa, seems pretty much it.
Nugent Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 If Mancini gets it then we can keep the Ranieri chant and just swap his name for Mancini.... GERRRIMIN
