Benji Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 I'm greedy so can't help but think of the season we could have had playing like the last two games. Got to give the job to Craig now.
Foxxed Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 Great result. But Hull looks very dangerous moving towards our centre backs. Ndidi is looking fantastic, yet he's not (yet) the same protector of our biggest weakness.
bovril Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 Playing to our strengths again and it shows. Ndidi recovered well from his mistake and had another great game. Have to give CS the job until the end of the season.
EGBFitness Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 First back to back wins since April, 6 goals in last 2 games and defence looking a lot better too. Certainly feels like were actually watching the champions of England again. Looking forward to the Sevilla game now! Would be interesting to know what all the Ranieri fans are thinking
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 Wasting so many months with Ranieri has cost us a decent top half finish this year. This is a good team. Play to their strengths and watch them fly. Great result.
Strokes Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 Most importantly we came back from a goal down to win, great character and spirit. Announce Shakespeare!
burleighfox Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 Give Shakey the job, he's earned it. Glad Riyad turned it on today, that little bit of quality has been lacking for some time and was always likely to pivotal in a game like this. We can enjoy the break and actually look forward to the second leg in ten days!
Webbo Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 Really could have been 4 or 5. Hull were really poor. Who cares? Get in there!
TMELcfc Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 Was all about 3 points today, and we got it after going a goal down... that wouldn't have happened with Claudio still here. Performance in the 2nd half was dog though, felt we got a bit lucky. Class keeper for us, dodgy one for them was the only difference really. BUT we had to win and did, thank god!
trabuch Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 5 points off relegation. Middlesborough and Sunderland are gone imo. Hull may still get out of it - and we beat them. Feeling positive. Shakey in.

We can start reeling in Watford and Burnley and of course Bournemouth are now on it despite their point. We need to kick on now. As you say gritty win and to come from one down when Hull could have shut up shop is very impressive.
Merging Cultures Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 CR has gone, so I won't criticise him any more. But it's great to see us playing like we used to.No goals in 2017, six in a week.
Mease Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 Mahrez looks as though his confidence coming back. Maldini had a good game ?

I'm pragmatic enough to realise we needed a change, but I'll forever remain a 'Ranieri fan'.
indierich06 Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 Felt like watching last season's Leicester again - particularly that feeling when we went a goal down that we would come back and win. Great resolve from the boys, more of a scrap than Monday's game, but really pleased that we are able to find a way to win again. Mahrez looked better today, looks to be regaining some confidence - still needs to improve, but he's getting there. Really think Shakespeare should get the job till the end of the season now. Tactics have been good, he's made the right subs at the right time and he seems to have reinstated that confidence, belief and resilience we had last season.

Tuna Posted 4 March 2017 Author Posted 4 March 2017 I'm so pleased for everyone at the football club, the owners for being vindicated for making the correct decision, Shakespeare for galvanising the team and the players who have been unfairly vilified. Claudio was relegating us sadly, but we can look forward to the future with a bit more optimisim now. How pissed off must the likes of Karanka, Silva and Moyes be now that we've turned it round. With goal difference we are 7 points above the relegation zone with 11 left....keep playing with that character and determination and quality and we'll be fine.
Chester Dontlie Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 Massive 3 points. Shakes has to stay!!! Pains me to say that but with Claudio we'd never come back to win this Professor Fuchsy MOTM, Mahrez is finally back, over the moon today 13 points to safety !!!!
49er Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 Six goals in the last two games. In the previous ten league games, we had only scored three!
Farrington fox Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 No league goals in 2 months then 6 in 4 day's. CS has to get the job at least til the end of the season.

Webbo Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 I'd probably give Mahrez MOTM but really I couldn't fault anyone. It's 7s and 8s all round tonight.
