Mezeker Posted 17 March 2017 Posted 17 March 2017 Can we all just take a moment to recognize how fast this ****ing shambles of a season became delirium overnight.
indierich06 Posted 17 March 2017 Posted 17 March 2017 It's amazing how much my love for this team has returned in three games. I really thought the magic had gone, I wasn't even excited to watch the first leg of the Sevilla game - just felt such a chore watching the team this season, and so frustrating considering how incredible last season was. The transformation since then has been unbelievable. I suppose we'll never know what went on behind closed doors, whether there was some shady coup by the players, whether Ranieri had lost the plot - whatever. The owners have done it again, they made a big decision and it looks to have paid off so far. Even if we get knocked out of the CL by Atletico, that second leg against Sevilla was amazing, and if we can survive in the PL this season, their decision will be wholly justified IMO.
The whole world smiles Posted 17 March 2017 Posted 17 March 2017 I never saw this season as a shambles. I've been following this club for enough years to know what a shambolic season actually is. Even before sevilla i loved the champions league adventure and the Man City games also enjoyed the fa cup run was a cracking day out and result in Liverpool. However now post sevilla this feels like one of the best in our history.
TheSomersetFox Posted 17 March 2017 Posted 17 March 2017 Honestly feels like everything that happened pre-Liverpool didn't even happen

In a strange way I nearly enjoyed the aftermath of the Sevilla first leg more given that it looked completely hopeless going into it. Brought the walls of the pub down for Vardy's goal and couldnt quite believe it that Gray was close to an equaliser. Enjoyed Tuesday night a lot though. Thinking back to the loss in December 2009 at home to Bristol City which i attended makes you appreciate nights like last Tuesday. Take a moment as you say!
Jonezy Posted 17 March 2017 Posted 17 March 2017 Pure madness. I was accepting relegation and a CL hammering a few weeks ago...
stevelcfc Posted 17 March 2017 Posted 17 March 2017 Huge credit has to go to the owners, players and most importantly Shakey for giving us our Leicester back.
MC Prussian Posted 17 March 2017 Posted 17 March 2017 This club has the unbelievably ability to kick you in the nuts one moment, then french kiss you on the cheek straight afterwards. Never boring being a Leicester fan, is it?

I was resigning myself to relegation and considering a year off from footy... now in my head I'm planning a champions league final in Cardiff.
Ted Maul Posted 17 March 2017 Posted 17 March 2017 I'm gutted, I was looking forward to a whole host of cracking away days in the Championship next season.
HybridFox Posted 17 March 2017 Posted 17 March 2017 Last season was an unbelievable miracle we will treasure forever. But...if we SOMEHOW pull this off in Europe, it will even eclipse that! The mood, the atmosphere that night against Sevilla was indescribable. The fact that this is knockout competition just makes it that much more exciting. Things can be decided overnight. What a bonkers team we support

Then I said it about the Great Escape. Then when we won the league. ...i wonder how many seasons in a row we can have the 'best ever' season??
AKCJ Posted 17 March 2017 Posted 17 March 2017 There was a thread earlier about Molla Wague. Remember when he played for us?

smr Posted 17 March 2017 Posted 17 March 2017 Hah, I said to my mates on whatsapp when we were in dire straights a few games before the liverpool one (one of whom supports arsenal - always give him the bants :p) that at least we're not a boring team always finishing 4th knowing what to expect. Up on the mountain one minute, sliding down the next only to reach out and grab a branch before clambering our way back up again. Good fun being a Leicester fan
Vardinio'sCat Posted 17 March 2017 Posted 17 March 2017 LCFC have just announced a new shirt sponsor, Alton Towers, for obvious reasons!
shailen Posted 17 March 2017 Posted 17 March 2017 You have to experience the lows to appreciate the highs. From losing to League 1 Milwall with a man advantage to beating Sevilla. Absolutely incredible.
Wymsey Posted 18 March 2017 Posted 18 March 2017 When you consider the team were apparently hitting the rocks after the Millwall match under Ranieri to the triumph on Tuesday, and seeing on the BBC Football website that a club full of success like Man Utd are just playing in a second-rate European tournament - this makes it more bizarre.
mozartfox Posted 18 March 2017 Posted 18 March 2017 I even contemplated going out on loan and supporting Florest for a season.. But then the effects of crack cocaine wore off and I regained my sanity.
