Still laughing at Mirallas trying to start Robert Huth. Who the hell in their right mind would want to fight Robert Huth?

Trying to provoke him and it worked.

For a fair comparison to Benny's performance think back to those games earlier in the season when Morgan didn't have Ndidi in front of him and Amartey was letting people go without picking them up, he was all over the place. We're inviting pressure again and eventually the cracks appear, the protection has to be better.

Whilst Lukaku"s goal was a good run into space onto a very good ball  the two CB's seemed more concerned about keeping an offside line than being goal side of the player, if they put themselves goal-side he at least has a challenge on him rather than a free header.

Drinky looks knackered. King's popped up here and there with a couple blocks/tackles & got forward near the end but theres no drive in the middle.

Not really though is it.  This is a weakened side we've put out, Ranieri was coaching Leicester to Benny Hill football with the full squad out.  This game has no bearing on Madrid, where Fuchs, Simpson and Ndidi will be back to make us look a lot more assured.

Can't agree really. We have looked very poor and could be 5-2 down. I expect better organisation and commitment despite the changes.

King is a passenger

Just let them talk, these people must watch different games. Like if he doesn't jump on one ball, he instantly "doesn't go for aerial duels" so he must jump either if he wins or loses the duel, the important thing is to jump to some posters here.

Imagine the praise for okazaki if he did what slim did first half?

Ridiculous game. Really missing Ndidi and sinj IMO. I like Slim but annoys me that he can't win any aerial duels.

Seems to score enough with his head.

Benny arguably at fault for all three. Definitely for the third, pathetic for the first and just watching the second I'm trying to work out which of him and huth should have Lukaku there rather than letting him just walk between them and nod it in.

Amartey isn't a right back. Never will be.

Get Drinky off. The bloke looks knackered. Only problem with that is, we'd have to play Amartey in midfield. I don't think Amartey's brain could cope with Everton's 1-2's.

This is a ridiculous game. Some lovely goals, but **** me are we only playing with Kaspar, two wingers and two forwards?

The defence and midfield have been diabolical. Amartey looks really nervous especially.

This is the reason, selfish that it is, that I hoped Shakespeare would field the same lineup as usual (with Benny in for Morgan of course).

I just think it would have been worth the risk, and going by the first half, we'd probably be winning right now. We have sports science and physios who could work on the lads 24/7 until Wednesday night, that's their job afterall...

Not fair blaming Benny for every thing, the defense is exposed because there is no n'didi

We have Morgan, Simpson, Fuchs, N'Didi and Mahrez not playing (and Okazaki too, though whether that's better than Slim or not is up for debate) - we're not gonna be playing as well as we normally do.

With King playing (and Drinkwater in terrible form), it was always going to be dodgy. Amartey clearly isn't a FB either.

We deserve to be more than one behind. Drinkwater looks about five yards off the pace - not sure why he's playing. Simpson on and Amartey to  middle please - though Amartey another who hasn't had a good game. Beyond Albrighton and in flashes Gray and Slimani struggling to think who has.

This is the complete opposite type of game we needed right now. Drinky has been poor for months now. Hopefully Ndidi will be ok for the Champions League game. Defensively Amartey is just all over the place. Just shows we need a proper right back, back up to Simo, Benny is having a poor game, but that's probably more to do with Ndidi not being there to help.
