adejo92 Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 To be fair, even if it was Shakey, the chances are he had done so in the best interests of the club rather than himself. There was no indication that he would be taking over either as a perminant or interim manager. If it was him, it could have been at his personal loss because if one of the many speculated managers took over, the chances are they would bring their own staff thus further demoting Shakey. I guess whats done is done and whether it was done rightly or wrongly will always be debatable.

I will be forever great full to Claudio, because he was the manager that brought us the greatest title in our history, but with the above, poor transfer windows, and returning to the tinkerman, and the club setting the bar so high last season, he struggled, and I really hoped he would turn it around, the decision was a sad one to make, but the right one sacking him. But the prep before and after the tournament was also poor..... Just not feeling it. Cracks have been evident for some time, even before May of the title winning season. I just feel he has been given far too much praise for that season. When many from within the club are now alluding to actually being down to momentum, form and morale, instilled by the great escape.
mozartfox Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 My money is on Filbert.. Back stabbing little shit.

That is 100% true i used to go out with a member of Either rudkin or Pearson's family (don't want to betray confidence) and i know for 100% sure those two did not get on at all.

Vardinio'sCat Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 I think it was Colonel Mustard, in the lounge, with the candlestick.
maddog Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 Someone pushed him out then its clearly Craig Shakespeare. There for 8/9 years, best mates with the whole squad, down to earth chap friendly with all staff within the club, in a position to influence the owners who he's worked with for a long time. Shakey the Snakey. But if we keep winning games I don't care
fazzyfox Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 Is my TV playing up or has Carragher eaten something very hot, he looks like the violet girl off Charlie & The Chocolate factory? It's not like his precious Liverpool have defended like that, it seems bad defending in general brings on his blood pressure.
lgfualol Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 It's no coincidence Molla Wague joined just weeks before Ranieri got the boot. I think that's who he was talking about.

kushiro Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 Just watched the interview. Jeez - his level of English is so poor. Just read these: "Possibly one of the greatest stories we will ever see again." "I think that's where the outrage come". "There was performances on the pitch." I respected him as a defender at Liverpool, but this Monday night gig is too much for him.

Guest worth_the_wait Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 Filbert Fox, you say? Hmm. You could be onto something here. A recent article on football365 described Filbert as really creepy: "His eyes are so big that they haunt you when you seek solace, like the imprint of a bright light burnt onto your retinae. They are the eyes of an animal who has lost so many good foxes on the A46, taken out in the dead of night by the deadly purr of a Saab estate. They are the eyes of a fox bullied every day of his school life after that video of his mother going through bins in the park was handed around the classroom. They are the eyes of a fox whose relations were in the White Deer Park fox skulk, whose humiliation was documented in season two of The Animals of Farthing Wood."

He fell lucky taking over a team on a massive high, and finally finding a winning formula, he steered the ship, and kept the momentum going, without changing a lot, and the addition of kante. Like I say I'm not taking nothing away from him, but will concede there was lots of reasons for winning it, the biggest it was a freak, all the stars aligned type scenario
AjcW Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 he just said he didn't like English football because of hoofball.... that made me chuckle....
