Wow!

Are you a member of Mensa?

Didn't think so.

That's your opinion.

My opinion is that you've contradicted yourself in initially saying that you respect Swan Lesta's opinion on the previous page yet you're wound up about it and harping on to him.. lol

I'm the child that's lost the argument in all this who's apparently sulking though and now he's insinuating that I'm stupid. He picks his battles badly.

He does this every time he's challenged - last time it was Gaston Ramirez and when challenged he spat his dummy so far out he threatened to leave FT, played the abused ITK card then spent hours hovering over a thread looking for attention threatening another dramatic exit.

Whatever lol

Oh here comes the back up surprise surprise!

wondered how long it would take for them to surface

All i said  was we both have different opinions so we should agree to disagree but no! I get the childish response of "Whatever" Prompting my questioning His intelligence or obvious lack of.

So yes your right I bow to your superior greatness that I admit I may have contradicted myself.

Have you ever wondered where the  Phrase...Safety in numbers come from?

I'll leave ya both to it pal.

Yes was in there, excellent atmosphere and all very friendly, apart from the dogs abuse towards the screens every time there was a close up of the referee.?

Completely agree!

We was stood close to the bar infront of the screen not far from the entrance and the atmosphere was mental all night!

So glad I decided to go out for it!

What exactly do the LCFC stewards do in all this are they there to act as an information point only. Also the reason a lot of people were in the square at the time was for a police escort to the ground I would take it that didn't happen asked one of the police earlier in the day when it would be and all you get was a shrug of the shoulders.

In seville they all hung out on the corner by Oneil's barring the odd one, if I remember right one got a ball full blast in the head, handed tickets out at the hotel, and watched the game, sorry stewarded inside the ground

There definitely wasn't  - I only went to plaza mayor for the escort,  which then didn't materialise!

Lyon and Turkish fans making our trouble look like child's play.

I think it clears it up we are not alone with trouble makers, but we don't throw flares into opposing fans end

Last night I was critical of the use of a net in front of our bit. Those sat on the bottom half of the upper tier had an impeded view. What happened tonight in Lyon explains the unfortunate need for the net.

A better trained, more civilised police force would have arrested the trouble makers rather than assaulting innocent people.

There were people fleeing the square being chased down and hit by the police. Angers me that there are people in this thread trying to place some of the blame on the victims.

This.....take out the trouble makers and let the rest continue to enjoy the occasion

People go on about the English behaviour, but in recent history the Turks are worse in the extreme violence, killing Leeds fans, and the level of violence at their games.

Seville fans stabbing juve fans recently, the extreme violence in Italian football, Russian attack anybody with extreme violence.

Not condoning the behaviour of our small minority of our fans, or the small minority of idiots that follow England, but English fans travel in numbers, and incidents of fighting, bottle throwing and mindless vandalism is a far as it goes.

Where as the above fans are by far worse than any of ours, as the English  don't go out to murder, seriously hurt anybody not English, like the Russians hitting people over the head with hammers and putting them in coma's, attacking innocent fans in packs, shootings and stabbings like in Italian football, so when calling in those in madrid, and English fans in general, as much as the behaviour is anti social, a bit of perspective of the English fan is needed.

Good post,

theres a stigma with English fans abroad,

but there's bigger fish out there,

didnt see anything reported on the Seville fans kicking off when over here,

seems to me that us English are marked men

I think you have a point here in some ways but I can't get on board with a 'Our antisocial behaviour is better than your antisocial behaviour' argument!

I do get what you are saying but we still have 5% of our away support who are right now watching a pitifully weak assed Elijah Wood be a football hooligan and masturbating furiously on the sofa at thought of being a part of something so exciting and yet utterly moronic.

And I just can't defend the idiocy. There's no doubt that others are far worse in the world but I don't find comfort in that really.
