What is clear:

we have a small minority of supporters that have let themselves and the club down and put others in danger.

Spanish police have overreacted and innocent supporters have been injured as a result.

We have many supporters who cannot fa them two sides to a story and both sides may be at fault.

Its not a case of stay out of the way and you won't get involved, from my understanding all supporters with tickets were asked to meet in the square to be escorted to the ground.

When there is a baton wielding approach and you are hitting all with a blue shirt, all that is going to happen isnothers get antagonised. Leading to more trouble flaring up.

The whole situation has been blown out from a few idiots, to treating all like animals.

To the supporters who have gone out their with the intention of trouble and winding up the locals you are just as responsible for the events as the police and I hope your proud.

I hope they die.

CCTV cameras were out way before this thread made it public.

You can expect the authorities already on the trail.

That Wink bloke is a special kind of special.

He also dresses like a 13 year old.

Whilst I sympathise with anyone who may have inadvertently caught up in it and got whacked....

the absolute state of a bunch of Leicester retards singing "Ten German Bombers" in the main square in Madrid - a pasting with batons from the police is the very least they deserved.

****.

Thinking back , there was a complete moron who picked up a chair (not plastic) and threw it in the direction of the police but they were nowhere near the baiters at that point as it was in the earlyish  stages of 'going off'. That chair went about 20mts over the heads of some fans and hit another in the back. At this point some fans were still standing around trying to enjoy themselves, not realising quite what was unfolding around them. The guy turned to his mates and seemed genuinely confused by what he had done as he wandered back to them - complete lack of self control and possibly a big contribution to the police decision to clear the square. its a straightforward booze thing but the flares were the catalyst and they would never have got them into the stadium past the three searches, assuming that was the purpose for bringing them. So had the TV people not turned up at the point they did then it might just have been ok yesterday. The support at the stadium was very muted last night - people worrying about being batoned afterwards may have contributed - the guy dragged down the stairs (and there were plenty of those - he must be sore this morning) for having got a can of beer through the searches was an illustration of what may lie in wait later.

Kudos to the the waiter who ran out to collect the said chair though.

To be fair there are plenty of people condoning police violence on here at the moment.

One of the videos is quite funny, showing people taunting police and throwing stuff at them, then winging when they get a baton around the head.

Yes, innocents were hit, but you have got to blame those who started it, as there wouldn't have been trouble without them.

I have said it before, going to normal away games you see it all. People throwing beer over people who don't want beer being thrown over them, people who haven't a brain to find their own seat number, the bloke who is always in the newspaper as a big fan going off to the bogs to do drugs.

Then the the police get the blame.

Those that hat got a baton across the head for no reason should first point the finger at those that can't string two words together, those that sing anti Germany songs that went out of fashion about 40 years ago. They just have not moved on.

Ooh you can email him your name and your thoughts if you scroll down to the bottom of the website - cracking opportunity to mention what you think about his latest film debuts in 'Merdrid'.

Two quotes from last night: One said that anyone condemning 'our boys' were 'worse than paedos', the other accusing anyone condemning them of being 'Quislings'.

An even bigger embarrassment than the thugs themselves.

20 years ago we experienced the hospitality of the Spanish police, caged outside Madrid, no food nothing to drink. We saw it to a lesser degree in Seville.

I've watched that video and what I can't understand is why anyone not looking for trouble would even consider hanging around in that square as soon as they turned up mob handed and bottles and flares we're starting to be thrown.

Maybe we've had it too soft over here, where the lads down Burnmoor Street just get ushered away after a game, where there's just a firm 'Move on lads' 'Keep Walking' . Maybe we've raised a generation of whiners where it's always someone elses fault. Maybe we're just incredibly naive.

We have some dross following this club, think back to the Everton game where rows of freebie souvenirs disappeared.

Just as "embarrassing" as the people on here basically cheering the Police on imo.

Why?

This thread serves as a collection of evidence for all to see who the daft pricks are who are behaving like tools so the club and police can ban them from travelling and it also serves as an evidence bank of how the Police dealt with the situation.

Depends who you want to protect and why I guess?

Was going to say the searches weren't that good for him to get them beers in.

What a dick, missed the match because he wanted a few beers in the stadium lollol.

Yup our end was shite last night.

Maybe a way to deal with this would be for LCFC to hire security and start to clear the square when told to by police, anyone who doesn't want to leave will be a sitting duck for police and get whacked, fair enough?

That's a really dangerous generalisation.

It's not at all, who are the ones throwing bottles, who are the one chanting racist, offensive slurs, who are the ones fighting....fans. I didn't say ALL fans, just fans.

If a fan went to the game, had a few beers, throw some chants in the stadium left and went home, you'd not see anyone getting a beating

If you want a good away end you need mainly 18-40 guys in the majority and boisterous.

We start moaning when we get fans singing and having a good time.

We get the end we deserve
