Man Utd win the game..... what exactly did they bottle? They trail Man City in the league. Man City are miles better than them. Man City won the league.....what did they bottle? They come up against Juve in the champions league. Juve are better than Spurs and have been in two recent champions league finals. Juve win over 2 legs. As expected. In our title winning season, we were consistently better than them. We won the league. "Bottling" is where YOU are the favourite and YOU are the front runner and you blow it, and when have they ever been the favourite or blown it? like been clear at the top of the league and blown it or been massive favourites for a cup and screwed up? A game lasts 90 mins. A champions league two legged tie lasts 180 mins. Being ahead for a few mins in a game doesnt mean youve bottled it when you lose. They just come up against teams that are better than them. I havent looked at the odds for todays game but theres no way you can argue Spurs are as good a side as Man Utd. "Bottling It" would be losing an 8 point lead like Man Utd did a few seasons ago. Or an even bigger lead vs Arsenal when they won the league. Bottling it is what England did vs Iceland.
